Is there any variable I can change in the save file to keep continuing? Seems like I'm stuck on taking control of the COO office.
The bug he is talking about isnt preventing you from taking control of the COO office, for that you have to force the current COO out either via bribery or a different job, or if you are controlling indira in IT and have switched the sim card of debbie you can overhear a conversation between the coo and debbie which will also allow you to force the COO out.

Otherwise the bug that person was talking about is smth you need to fix by going to the save file under CompanyMan-1.0\Company Man_Data\StreamingAssets\Saves and change the Promotion value from 8 to 9 which iwll then allow you to progress to Chairman of the Board by talking to Debbie about proposing a motion to the Board.

Thanks for this, was stuck on progressing to chairman of the board as the option was greyed out and I couldn't see the requirements. I guess that was the end then? Ending felt rather abrupt, but the journey was fun for me at least.

I believe you need to get into Metropolitian club before handing Jada to Van Engen, then you prolly have some options, I screwed my run since I just read text from Metropolitian club "you finally broke Jada, you can now figure if you want to give her to new HR director" so perhaps there is some options there.

Anyone still having issues with the UI on their 4K screen? Wondering who is being punished, your personal assistant or your eyes trying to read all that saucy text??

There's a free program on Steam called Lossless Scaling. Working perfectly with this.



The demo is free and works with this, so no purchase necessary. Been using it two days now.

As to 'recasting' progress, it is 100% possible and happening.

I saved a package file that changes these Extra characters, both video and PNG/transparent cutout sprites you interact with in the game world. It changes the Alley Hooker to Jasmine Grey, the Bar Waitress to Ashlyn Rae, and the celebrity Trainer chick to Alina Lopez.

It's more a proof of concept/test. Anyone who knows how to use Asset Bundle Extractor can check it out. Or google how to apply .emip files with it, very easy.

I've also completely replaced Dierdre with Anastasia Knight in my version, pics and vids, even the pic on her mother's desk, but I forgot to save a package before applying and saving. Thank fuck it didn't crash or anything.

So when I've done my recast version I'll have to release the full 7GB+ sharedassets0.assets and sharedassets0.resource in a zip, who knows how big it'll be by then. My assets have been made comparable in size. I'll start my own mod thread then.

Also planning to replace the lame blonde british model who doesn't have hard core scenes. Cast as your crazy expensive, high end mistress, with no fucking?? Thinking Lana Rhoades, and she will get fucked in the love nest in every way possible, not just show her tits or wear lingerie in grainy videos. Or maybe Alexa Grace. Depends on ease of finding the content I need.

Feel free to suggest any pornstars, especially 30's+, there are a few milfs I'd like to replace. The female execs should be a visual tease/inspiration in my view. Their scenes should be a gameplay reward in my view, and they aren't doing it for me at the moment with their actresses.

I can't believe it was something as simple as the rank being reflected in game but not updating in the save file.
There doesn't seem to be much that you get for doing that though, so oh well.

What departments are not finished at a bit of a dead end with Sales, and Financing. I also am having a hard time getting any revenue (thus why i was trying to take over sales and i can't get the lead girls pride to drop no options). The new guy in the law office seems to need his pride hit so he will fallow through with finance. Is that just not in game yet?

It would not interfere with the dies 'work in progress'. He became the CEO, moved the daughter of the former CEO to live with him, but there are no actions with her.

1 - it's a bug mentioned above where you need to edit the save file to change promotion value to 9 to be able to select it.
2 - it requires sending specific people to the doll house (you have a choice with some of them). if you don't send them, then you can't complete those missions.

So I hit a bug wall twice with regards to Planning and Consulting, being unable to progress with either. I did the HR modules, but Tracey is stuck at like 137 ambition and Susan is like 17. Susan and Deborah have no options, though I'm controlling everyone else in consulting.

Searching through the forums here gave me confusing answers. Apparently, Consulting is the 2nd department you are supposed to get control of, with Planning being the first? Which just leads me to wonder how I'm getting stuck or triggering a bug to prevent progression. I know there are some bugs where if certain things are done out of order or different world states are triggered/progressed too far, it will prevent new options for characters from appearing, but what those might be doesn't seem to be listed anywhere in the thread here.

Any help would be appreciated; the game is interesting and conceptually fun, but the bugs make it frustrating. I believe I ran into this exact issue on the last version too, but I was able to fix it/figure it out, just have no idea how.

Here's my path (maybe not the best, but it works).

Carry Extra Employee Guides folders to Compliance and forget about Candace for now.

Do your Corporate values onboarding program at HR with Jada as early as you can to get it out of the way, then return once you have more Power to do your Manager training (Personal Development Plan starts with Susan). Week two should almost be over.

Work Britney and Jill first. (What are you Reading? then complain to Deborah about Reception for a head-start) Control then Break them. Once you've done everything you can will Jill, sell her to Selecta for 5k (do not send her to her BF).

Institute IT Audit, etc with Susan. Use money to buy suits & jewellery, you want to get your power up.

Go to town on Ann. Either Hornicol or go to to Max's and gain blackmail inifo on her. Snipe the easy points with Deborah, but don't focus on her. Grind down Susan as available. Increasing sales quotas helps grind down Ann, closing the Titan Defense contract helps. Don't take the poison pill for Susan option. Waste a week punishing Ann to get her from Controlled to Broken -- time means nothing here.

Take over the Internship and grind down Amanda. Keep her around for now, she and Ann will be handy Ego generating fuck-muppets, much better than Britney.

Take the introduction to Tracey in Planning.

Without any outside interference you should be able to get Susan down to 11 to 9 points. Then make cookies. Then talk to her about her management style and her posters. She'll be at 0 Ego now.

Go to Tracey and she should give you control of CSG now. Return and break the bad news to Susan. It should be mid-October.

Next steps: Fire Britney

Enact Policies. (Every time you win a site enact all the policies you can, but watch your Resources, they're hard to come by early on).

Get Deborah sorted out. She'll spring back to 120/140 once you shift her to your office, and will take a lot of work.

Let Tracey give you intros to all the departments.

Turn your eyes to Compliance/Candace. Once I've met everyone I like tackling Lisa in Purchasing, because Miss Gossip-britches has a lot of de-buffs. Candace will help you with Carole in HR.

I take HR out of the picture and open Legal and work on it before closing up planning. You are in the early mid-game (by my way of looking at it) until you can pocket Legal, Purchasing, HR, and Compliance.
