Ok so does anyone have any clue, how this dev just by making making 2 games one of which doesn't look that good tbh is making more than 18 grand a month?

That's because you chose Emma as your "official" girlfriend.
If you decided to keep your options open, you would miss that scene, but keep the rotation of morning wakeups.
Save before you choose to make Emma your girlfriend or not.
From that point, there are 2 routes. There's almost no difference between the two, but you need to play both if you want all the scenes.
