Just finished the first game. A little rushed, but I had the mods that padded out the rest of the game so it was fun. I sort of liked the redemption angle in the ending. Too bad there isn't a version of the first game with this game's alchemy, that'd be the best of both worlds.

Go to a magic trainer and pay them to teach you the summon. It'll take a day or so. Then you just equip it as an encounter power.

The bard summon here in different, you get it by finding the horn key item in the underwater dungeon after winter wolf quest. You also must buy a summoning book off evergreen, take it to the wayfort, and use it to draw a circle. You get the spell once you meet all requirements.

The only other summon approaching this complexity is the one from the ring of fate quest. There you need to make sure you pick up the soul gem that unlocks the tomb before you leave the dungeon. You learn that spell after you equip the ring and sleep at the frosthound inn.

Learn Flame Spirit from the elf alchemist or Viviane. Then approach the back of the temple with that spell equipped.
