Besides evergreen is more pleasant than Komari. Not i am saying Komari is bad, but you can't FUCK KOMARI.

On the other hand fucking Evergreen isn't much of a selling point.

I just don't understand why we havent been able to sex up Komari or Carmen by now, making some super happy fun time content for those two would be an EASY WIN...

EDIT: Same with Nelia, she's been in the game since day one and there's NO content with her, despite her in-game portait being VERY suggestive... wtf devs...

honestly Tobs writes like he's a student trying to hit the word limit, its all filler with no substance, and its just disappointing most of the time. No offense to the guy, but more words isn't better

On it's own his writing is fine but it's like bits and pieces of a novel crammed into a game. I'm aware of the "complaining about too much text in a text game" joke but there is such a thing as a sense of pace so reaching wall after wall of text is gonna burn people out. And I'm not even getting into the lack of choices, just that there's zero dynamicism or attempt to make the player feel immersed which should be priorities in interactive fiction even in moments where there are no choices to be made.

You're just a stand in for the specific PoV he wants so you can marvel at his prose & the lore and characters he's obviously so proud of. It's like watching someone play with dolls through text.

Nelia and Komari were both designed to be unsexable from the beginning. I think Komari was initially not even getting a bust, but I'm not sure about that.

Both are now supposed to be getting content, but afaik it's pretty low on the priority list.

Carmen just keeps getting pushed by Savins backlog.

I imagine a lot of stuff got pushed way back when he had to take over TiTs.

Eh, from most games I've played that's pretty normal. Especially for shopkeepers, a lot of porn games have hot shop clerks you can't bang.

The real crime is having a hot gobbo character in a game with no actual bangable gobbos...

Completely a matter of preference of course, but personally i find that writing bordering on obnoxious, and nowhere near fine. It's very much style over substance, and poor style at that.

Tobs writes as if the reader adores every word of his story so he thinks he's doing them a favor by adding purple prose padding

Tobs content reading like a cut down novel looks like a valid observation (heh) since most of the fox content and the core of Kinu's content is based around his princess maker fan fic. And whatever parts of it he was forced to cut down he shoveled away into the Kinu novella.

Disagree honestly. He expects people to care about the story he's trying to tell without actually giving us a reason to care, he seems to think more words = better, and completely disregards the world in which he's telling his story. This isn't even mentioning how the PC isn't even a real character for his shit despite the MC being the one allowing these events to happen in the first place. His sense of pacing would be terrible for a book too, nobody needs to know the intricate details of a completely pointless japanese fan that is never brought up again.

He's just injecting and idolizing his cringe OC into the game and it's painfully obvious, much more so than anything else in the game. This would be apparent even if he posted it on Ao3 or whatever.

I come back for a while and now we have a tobs enjoyer? Looks like 2023 is going to be the end of the world.

A good writer won't need a bible's worth of text to be considered good, just enough should be fine because all it does is waste time on information that is never going to be important like fillers in a show that doesn't have any connection to the main story.

A good writer won't demand the players to care for characters.

This POV thing is something I'll agree on if it's only their characters that are interacting (basically kinu shenanigans) but making the PC look like a moron while being a genius when interacting with characters that aren't written by him is pretty much a retcon.

If there is something I'll give him credit, it's the fact that piece of shit gave me Kinu before they grew up.

Pretty much none of his characters outside of the den are designed that way. Pretty sure Kinu was the only one for that and even then I don't think she was made with that intention. I've only ever felt he doesn't care about the player when it comes to the shitsunes.

That being said, I still don't think his content is worth reading. Bastard made an onee-san character and I still wasn't able to like it because TOBS writing

The new content...is an Azzy expansion. AND an Evelyn expansion. Two of my favorite characters in the game.

Except...you only get one of them: dommy dragoon Azzy OR dragon Eve.

This is simultaneously my favorite patch ever and a swift kick in the nuts.
