Hello, I am new here and considering writing content for the game, I'm unsure if it will pass, but was curious about what people wanted from a male character in the den? Platonic or otherwise. I would like to turn someone, maybe Kazuo into someone that starts off harsh but has a early catalyst that makes him want or need the player character as either a platonic best friend or lover, to reduce feelings of being unwanted in the den. If it does not pass I'll share it here regardless, it's a passion project. Thank you for your time and input if you have any to share. :)
For me as long as I'm not a femboy you can do whatever you want ........... even if a playboy type would not be bad

TiTs, 100%.
CoC 2 MC is more beta than an npc in CoC 1.
More beta than an "NPC" in coc1? Haha, no way. I don't believe F95 would have 900 pages of gamers playing a soft MC for 100+ hours haha. You almost got me, I appreciate the

Shh, don't expose the plan.
This is to keep the shitting on this game trend going.

I have no proof for this but still I'm 99% certain that the primary reason Tobs wrote the Brienne hobgoblin rape scene was because wsan pissed him off when wsan wrote that centaur titfuck scene for kiyoko.
At the end of the day you have to accept that that's just what you get when every single person involved with writing for a porn game has an open/hidden cuckoldry fetish.
what scene is this? I've never seen or heard of this

Which PC plays a more dominant role in the various in game writing: CoC2 or Tits?
TiTS unironically. Especially on Zheng-Shi. You can beat the one enemy so hard, they come back to you later desperate for some sex. The other you can impregnate, and then they look for you for some more dick after lmao

In this game, you're sidelined on sex scenes very frequently.

Edit: TiTS is just better overall tbh. It has something for the Doms and subs, and the people that don't care for either

Thank you all for your comments. Going to go back to TITS and walk Anno like a "dog." Was just wondering if this game had the same level of...badass dom feeling in the writing. I guess not. Thanks again everyone.

TiTs easily.

Though the PC is also much subbier in TiTs too.

Really TiTs just hits more extremes than CoC2 all around.
I would argue that sub-PC in TiTS is much subbier, but also allows for the Dominant PC to actually... be dominant. Like, enslaving Sera by forcing her into so much debt she has no choice type dominant lmao Where TiTS succeeds and CoC2 fails is that, on the other side of the coin, you can also be collared and turned into someone's bitch.

No brother, no such thing here. You aren't allowed to be a badass in any sense of the term in CoC2, and even if you find a way how to, the devs will change that. Example being, someone managed to fuck up their stats so hard they were able to solo a boss battle that was intended to be unwinnable. The devs "fixed" it, and now the fight is an autolose lmao

Personally I dont get all the hate for it. If you like it and play it, cool. If you dont like it, also cool. I'm also not super aware of all the behind the scenes stuff, but I dont really understand why so many people who dont like this game continue to come back to hate on it rather than drawing attention do and supporting games and developers they like. Then again I also dont expect this post to keep anyone from relentlessly hating on the game just cause its not your cup of tea.

Some of us are here because funni, but also loved the first game so seeing this one hurts. I support my fave games too, but the people here are too funny to stop coming back.

You're free to enjoy it (it does have its good parts) and we're free to make fun of it, especially since some of us were ousted from the official forums when we tried to voice concerns early on

Eh, it's easy to understand. People satisfied with the game are obviously going to gravitate towards official channels, and people dissatisfied with it congregate elsewhere.

I'm mostly here because I don't like using Discord tbh. Reminds me too much of AOL chat rooms.

I posted this exact same sentiment around a hundred pages back. That was back when I only just finished most of the content in the game and didn't think about any of it. Stuck around for a small while because I thought it'd be interesting to try and be the neutral view of the thread. Lo and behold, here I am shitting on this game left and right. Most of it is constructive(I think) though so at least there's that.

This game has way more problems than "not being my cup of tea". To chalk up everybody's problems surrounding this game to just that is reductive and unfair. The devs also have more issues than an easily influenced group of angsty teenagers.

I come back because I really like the banter and people here, I think this mess of a game is fun to pick apart, and it makes me feel better as a person and writer funnily enough. Thanks TOBS!

So then why not go on the official forums? You seem happy enough with it, considering I've never seen you criticize the game once.

Eh, I got comfortable here.

And man, I've criticized the game many times some of them in conversations with you.

Its hard to talk about my actual criticisms of the game a lot, though, because a bunch of the stuff thrown around here gets way overblown.

If I can be excused for reposting my query: do we have an official list of characters who are abandoned, and therefore (more likely to be) allowed to be worked on by randos?
tl;dr The only ones I'd actually bet on are characters with so little content they're essentially unnamed, like the elf boy with a big "Would you like to permanently remove this content from the game?" button, and if you're lucky you might eventually get the privilege of writing a Cait cuck scene. No, that's not a joke. But if you bear with me I'll more fully answer that and give advice to aspiring writers for this title with my experiences. I'll post a second tldr at the bottom. Kazuo has been abandoned since he was released. I'm a shit writer so I failed at making a corrupt epilogue, and the most constructive criticism I got was to make scenes for a preexisting character, not an original one because originals are even more work. I saw Kazuo and noticed I identified with him, being connected to his puppets, he's a male character so dev interest would be minimal, nobody was publically working on him, his foundation was already there, and was going to give him tweaks but painstakingly try to incorporate what little lore already existed for him and the kitsune. I had to ask on discord multiple times if it was ok if I wrote some stuff for him because everyone, even Savin, were talking about Fire Emblem or making Carmen jokes (which is a joke in itself), on the official CoC2 channel. I finally get told that 2 users are already working on him, one of which didn't even have him listed on their projects, and they didn't even know the name of the other user. Finally Tobs says

Well I figure, you know what, I don't like him, but I like Kazuo well enough. So I'd just do the aspiring hire thing of starting a frame work to hopefully earn trust. I even created a completely new account, to get a clean slate and change my personality in favor of the workman's "Yes sir, no sir, ty sir". I made the error, I suppose, of figuring I'd earn his trust that way so spent like 2 days on a script, this time using an accepted character's script as a tutorial on parsers, choices etc., because I figured I could have done at least as good as that writing. After almost finishing the introduction, I decided "well that's like 4 or 5 pages in google docs, there's several threads wip so I'll post mine, give a outline of my goals, plans and saying I wanted to stay true to tobs characters so i'd welcome his input and be willing to make large alterations (which is more than most do, even tobs himself lmfao). I get a post from one of the 3 or 4 people who apparently stay on fenoxo browsing threads 24/7 (no shade meant but I'm not joking) if I asked tobs for permission. So I say "i'm terribly sorry dear friend, i'm new here, i'll do so at once" and post in the thread he linked. no response from tobs, i get one response from someone saying, "you're new here so nobody's going to trust you with that character". Still no response from anyone important, then the thread got unceremoniously nuked. Which sure is awful funny, because I made a thread prior about a epilogue, people seemed passive aggressive so I fired back, later regretted even talking to anyone there or writing in the first place so just decided to change the thread and my own passive aggressive comment to "please delete this". Still there last time I checked btw. I'm going to be blunt, myself and say don't write for them. Go to the monster girl encyclopedia wiki, pick 3 at random, make them boys, girls, or futa, and write about your mc banging them in various ways and/or falling in love with them while listening to music, or just straight up read the pages and fantasize. You're not going to get paid for quite some time if at all, you'll have to walk on eggshells the entire time, and have to track down each author like an annoying fly to ask them for permission. If they say no, then you'll have to track someone else down. It's as fun as it sounds.

Second tldr, if you want to write for coc2, if you come here, do not shitpost with jokes about the devs. Do not talk about them at all anywhere, or use another account to do so with no connecting information. They view it or others wanting brownie points will view it and say "look what this person said". Put random comments everywhere on fenoxo. Again, not joking, too few posts, you're not going to be "trusted", to write about a fox boy giving a frog futa a good dicking. If you want to write for them, you don't get to choose or invest extra effort to write what you care for, it's safest to start just writing Cait fucking a tree while the player character watches or giving someone a bj, or completely creating an entire character from the ground up with excruciating detail and parsers. eventually you might get the privilege of writing for a named abandoned character, or pull an alypia and come from absolutely nowhere with like 50 oc commissions getting banged by etheryn and get chucked a party member.

If you still insist on writing, here's my framework I started on, too much effort to just burn it but it's essentially worthless now. It will give you a idea of the first steps of choices, the parsers (little commands for choices or descriptions like [pc.hair] etc) and how you generally format stuff

and here's a unrelated script of a character that got in, for a full example

my plan was for Kazuo to be hungry similar to how miko gets in her impreg scene, he lashes out, you wind up helping him platonically or romantically which creates a catalyst for him to be connected to the mc. from there you'd help him with his projects, gathering materials and upgrading his puppets and fighting them, leading to him creating a small line of musket puppets to protect the den, keeping in line with jap culture, but their materials would be rare so they could be justified in not marching everywhere etc. eventually getting a musket puppet summon, and gradually get more and more involved with him which ideally would have hopefully led to a rindo-esque marriage thing. gender wouldn't matter, he'd have scenes for both, his hair's tied up so room for sex scenes to have him with flowing hair. he'd be a workaholic that's champsexual. he'd talk about puppets and how he gets attached to them like they have souls, again a thing also in japanese culture, and it's implied he cut off his arm which is now wooden to have advanced his career, and he has what appears to be wrapped cloth on his arm and legs which could be shown to cover scars if you wanted, so there'dve been drama and kept with the trauma themes in the den about that. if anyone wants to use any of that, be my guest i don't care anymore.

I think that slowly influencing Kazuo about the outside world and culture would be interesting, make him more open to working with outsiders and eventually becoming an ally.
