Corruption gives you more edgy dialogue while also actively locking you out of some content.

When you've get the choice between pure or corrupting an area keep it pure for more content.

In summary, corruption gives you almost fucking nothing and may lock you out of content.
So does slaying demons but I persist that nothing of value is lost.
