I think this ties to the nightmare/corrupted dream where the mc could force Ryn to replace her penis with a vagina. What even was old Ryn like? I can't remember.

Old Ryn was kinda undefined since Savin didn't seem to know where to take her and changed her around conceptually a couple of times. The main thing Alypia did was make her high confidence Ryn scenes pop up even at low confidence so Ryn. Old Ryn had a clear separation between her two states. Plus Alypia likes to make the player an avid member of the Ryn Defense Squad regardless of our feelings towards her however she's been interacted with.

She made a list for the discord a few years ago of characters to "prove" people wrong about there being too many dickgirls that she still updates occasionally because she still resents you guys(and she has definitely read some of these posts). She fails to understand that it's not the quantity of characters but the quantity of scenes that make the game focused on futa. And what a weird thing to defend Savin on when he's very open about futa being one of his fetishes and only really being interested in including his fetishes.

Real talk, I got so annoyed by Alypia's Ryn that I started wishing I could hand her over to Alissa and have them both fuck off and never bother polite society again and just take one of the Ryn clones as a replacement.

• Largely took over Ryn from Savin because Savin doesn't want to write her anymore citing that Ryn has "become" Alypia's
• Alypia doesn't understand that she's the one writing Ryn and thus could simply write Ryn to be okay with having a vagina, even temporarily, to have the Champion's child
• Despite writing Ryn as her personal waifu, Alypia also really likes shipping Ryn with Elthara and is the major reason why Elthara is gonna be forced to have Ryn's child if you want

She's a good person, generally, but my god should she never be allowed to write characters in a game about choice. She gets really culty whenever it comes to defending CoC2 to the point she'll justify the bad behavior of her friends because she's unfortunately too much of an optimist when it comes to them. If Savin switched up suddenly and said "You know, fuck Patreon, fuck Fen, let's put loli and incest and vore and all sorts of bad stuff and make the game SUPER modder friendly" she'd be right there cheering it on because she can't think badly of her friends.

Then there'd be an even larger difference if going off words per scene. Tobs alone, who doesn't really write any futa/dickgirl characters(like there's Meira but you can dedick her), would stat pad in favor of purely vag having women. Like if we keep this to non "one off" female NPCs and the like, it's still a pretty large disparity.

Look I won't tell you you're wrong, but you're not looking at the whole picture

In really, really simple terms that special OC that the writer loves and doesn't want anyone to ruin becomes part of the setting and is molded to fit into that setting, and that setting is designed to accommodate the vague taste of a pool of players, so while it's good for a character to have a personality, as they should, that personality doesn't exist in a vacuum and is there to entice the player, that's you, to interact with them

And that's why having a writer betray the premise of the first game which is foundational for the second game becomes an issue, as that turns the interactive adventure where you're supposed to roleplay with this characters into the not so interactive adventure where you roleplay as someone that watch the characters

Especially since it only accounts for the NPCs and not the focus they receive, how many updates they've gotten, how many scenes they have, whether a non-futa character has scenes with a futa character, and I can't tell if it accounts for characters who can become futa or not. Throwing out the number of NPCs by gender and genital category doesn't actually contradict the complaint of it being a futa focus.

Cross the three and you'd likely get what you want as a proper representation of this game's roster distribution.
