They look a lot like the tragic bride if I'm not mistaken. Jessica was by far my favorite part of the quests along with, obviously, Bianca!
I only found this game, yesterday, and I played through to the end of the vampire route. This is truly an excellent and special game. So much effort has been put into the little details. It took me about 6 hours total from start to the end of V2. I need to do a full playthrough of the normal route now.

Why am I constantly being cursed after I completed the contract The Forgotten Treasure? I let it run down to 0 in fight, but it just jumps back to 5 stacks after the fight, I use sacred elixir to purify it, but the curse just appears again with 5 stacks, is this suppose to happen, or is it a bug?

i am currently stuck in king's request,
I ended up clearing the castle from every vampire (i also went to the garden to get the emblem), yet i am unable to progress (basically i can not go up stairs to meet with ember).
is this supposed to happen?

Proper scene recollections can be a massive pain to implement, this is really good news. Keep up the good work as usual MKRU! Your weekly reports on F95 are greatly appreciated - just wanted to let you know. And, of course, have a nice vacation. You've definitely earned it.
Crimson Veil's one of the most unique games I've played to date, and being struck with CYOA-book nostalgia (many of which were vampire-themed!) probably makes me biased. Still, all the work you put into it really shows the larger it grows. Props on the extensive testing and planning ahead - many developers could learn from that.

You're very punctual with weekly updates. Not many devs can do that (or at all).
I haven't been following the game for very long so I don't know what the long term plans are. When you talking about finishing up the game, do you mean just the main storyline? I'm asking if vampire storyline will ever be finished. Thanks.
They've mentioned that they plan on continuing to work on the vampire storyline after the main storyline is finished. So when they say "finishing the game" they just mean "making the game playable from beginning to end". I think they even indicated that they may continue adding side missions to the main story, but I may have jumped to conclusions there.You're very punctual with weekly updates. That's also my take on it. As far as I can tell, there have been quite a bunch of contracts and side missions, and that's not even counting every single bad end scene (mentioned in MKRU's latest weekly update) you can encounter. You can technically see all scenes by saving like crazy and keeping save archives, but many are influenced by prior choices too.
Really love that magical little thing with every single enemy having their own scene. It dates back to RPG Maker 95 and losing to zako going "how the fuck did I even win?" on you, only to get either a comedy gold or pixel art H-scene with dialogue afterwards before the game over/auto-revival/back to last save point. It *really* increases playability (as well as replay value in some cases) by a damn lot.
With modern engines, RPG Maker is much more lenient so you can also add absurdly high resolution pictures and even full movies. (I still prefer the good old pixel art thing but hey, old people like old people things.
)I am looking forward to the main story being completed eventually, it kinda lets out at a cliffhanger currently

You can upgrade your equipment with gems or sell them in any shop with the "sell" option. I highly recommend keeping them, though they can occasionally break saves if the core engine or upgrade plugin is modified (MKRU provides fresh saves each time, though, as well as a complete walkthrough).
I'm more of a gem hoarder since I never actually upgraded anything, but they provide awesome stat boosts. If you're addicted to laurels and casino gambling, though, maybe you don't need that.
