Quite right, the images in the game are layers so that they take less time/computer power to produce. This means that most character elements are separate from backgrounds in the same way that sprites are, but with an attempt to blend them into to the background so that it doesn't look the way that a traditional sprite game looks (primarily because I would need to learn ATL to do it in a way I'm satisfied with).
With reflections in particular it's very hard to do this with the way that Daz works as the reflection can't display correctly unless you render everything in the scene at the same time. So instead I re-angled the camera and positioning to make it less obvious and simply ignored the mirror. It's something I might fix in the future, but it isn't a priority.

As I've said the goal is by the end of the month, which is still on track, end of the week if I can manage.
I'm still aiming for the end of the month, I won't be done this week, (this month has been real hard for a number of reasons, this week especially has come with a number of dental visits to address an unexpected and emergency issue) but I may not be able to finish before the 31st.

I know some of you are eagerly awaiting more releases and I am doing my best to bring them despite my IRL commitments and situations.As a general rule: if devs are unsure if they make it in time, it's not happening in at least 420% of the cases.
Update on V2.0: planned release date 12th of September. If all goes well there should be a second update in September about a fortnight from the V2.0 Release.

I just mean we had the planned 31st update which didnt pan out, the 12th being the next which again didn't happen, and in two weeks it is supposed to only be an update to 2.0, so im just curious how the Road Map is changing.
Probably some real life issues, otherwise he would have said something about the delay already. I guess the update is ready once he returns.
