There may well be a choice going forward for new relationships that you start as the MC but I haven't fully decided. If pregnancy in any form is a deal breaker for you, I'd give this one a skip but thankyou for your interest.
I can see how her arms might look flabby in POV though that is mostly due to lighting and perspective and unless you are actively flexing them, or have a very low body fat percentage/heavy dehydration, big arms do honestly tend to look flabbier than people expect.
So to address the current state of things. 3.0 is a solid 2-3 days of work away. I'd like to state clearly that at this point in time "Crisis of Faith" is a hobby for me (as is the work I do on Pixiv) and any release dates I mention are guesses at best as I work a dangerous job with difficult hours, I usually have between 10-12 hours of time to work on this game a week at best, with each update taking normally 40-50 hours of combined work.
Due to a number of incidents over the last few weeks (months if I'm honest) my job has become increasingly demanding, so time management has been difficult (especially with attempting a new project like this) culminating in deadline estimates being pushed back. I have and will continue to do everything I can to get at least one update out a month until I've finished the story.

At the start of the game the MC's wife is 13 weeks pregnant. Her belief that sex in the first trimester can be dangerous to foetal development (which is a common myth, in the vast majority of pregnancies it wont be) is the driving reason for the MC's partial abstinence leading to the events of the game. Similarly any pregnancies from relationships from before the start of the game are also unavoidable.

As has been stated earlier in the thread, this entirely depends on whether you want to watch a massive muscular Futa or you want to be a massive muscular Futa. In my opinion there are no games (that I've seen or played) really that put you into a true Futa protagonist POV which is what I wanted to do for my game.

I wonder if game has some sort of hidden stats, for example affection with certain characters obtained through choices in dialogue with them? And can I lose this affection if I choose wrong?
There are no secret stats.
I'm not a fan of hidden stats or points as a player or a creator (partly because they are tricky to keep track of) the thing I find most immersion breaking and frustrating in a game is "There would be a scene here but you don't have enough points". It also feels like a replacement for character development through interaction.
I have no plans to implement secret points.
What there are are choices, and different characters will have different reactions based on choices you have made. In certain situations there may end up being chains of specific choices to get to specific outcomes, but we are only 2 in game days deep so far

I haven't had enough time to work on 3.0 this week to finish it. (Had three 12 hr shifts and hard ones at that.) But I have managed to negotiate with my supervisor to put me on consistent shifts. This means I should now have the same hours every week which should allow me to actually predict better when an update will come out which well I'm sure be easier for everyone.
In the mean time, this might mean 3.0 comes out next week or the week after depending on how well I can adjust to the new schedule.
I will also note here that the 3.0 update might not feel like a lot of content to some players (when it does come out) as what happens will depend a lot on if you are pursuing Catherine as a romantic option or not.
Anyway, I'll let ya'll know when it's done, fingers crossed, it'll only be a few more days.

now i want to know what job requires a worker to take 12 hour shifts multiple times in a row. also thanks for explaining why the update was delayed
there are some shit jobs that try to over work staff and not pay enough thats why people been quiting there jobs
The reference to a Monday release was for the Part 2 of the "My Retribution" comic that was planned to come out last weekend. That will be out later today.
I work security. Specifically I was doing alternating day and night shifts both as desk and patrol security for a large old building in London that sometimes has events on. I was doing 6am to 6pm then later in the week shifting to 6pm to 6am. That way the building is covered 24/7 and the team can cycle in and out without breaking labour laws. The pay could be better, but pay is pretty bad across the security industry in general due to a low floor of entry, a high number of workers willing to work awful hours for minimum (or sometimes less) wage and it being a relatively young and growing industry that aggressively stomps out attempts to unionise.
Going forward I now am only on the day shift, so I have the same shifts each week. Meaning I can (hopefully) recover more consistently and have more time/energy to do the things I want to rather than have to do.
I had considered doing a game where you play as security for a prestigious venue, I might circle back to that when I've finished Crisis of Faith or if I find different work/the time to work on more than 2 projects.
3.0 does not currently have a release date, It'll be out when it's out. Hopefully by the end of the week.
Trying not to egg you on, but have you ever had the thought of doing something like early access to comics or game downloads for ppl who subscribed on pixiv fanbox?
Unfortunately for that to work I'd have to be willing to apply Japanese style censorship all of my work due to Pixiv and Fanbox's terms of use. The moderators tend not to be as concerned with Pixiv itself unless you become a relatively prolific user (and even then you mostly need to make a token expression of the mostly pointless black bar kind, unless you produce stuff of questionable legality from what I've heard) but on Fanbox, because money is involved, they check every submission and flag it if it's not censored properly. Ignoring the fact that I don't want to censor my work, I just don't have the extra time required to do it.
So while I plan to have some unique stuff on my Fanbox other than the comic content polls, that unique stuff will either need to be censored or not showing genitals in a way that requires censorship.
Aside from that currently everything is immediately released when it's complete enough to do so, so any kind of "early access" would actually be delaying release any where it's not paid for thus leading to sites like this and the way they work.
I am still trying to get a Subscribe Star account working properly and when I do I might consider a staggered release schedule then.
