3.0 is still coming, I underestimated my turnaround from the shift pattern I'd done for nearly a year to a different one and I've spent a lot of the last two weeks at work or unconscious because of it. The script for 3.0 is particularly long this time around as one of the scenes in it happens in four different ways, something I'm expecting to happen more and more as the web of player choices becomes more complex.
I had really wanted to get this out sooner and It hasn't happened. On the plus side I'm very nearly completely done with the scripting and coding section of the development for this update (which for me is the bit that by far takes the longest, partly because I need to be in the right mindset to write at all) and once that's done I can hammer through the assets and testing.
I don't know if I should ask you this, are you 70% completed of 3.0? If you could estimate the percentage what would be.View attachment 1475178

Healthy deadline is a keyword instead of promising a monthly update when it's ready to release then this shouldn't make fans worried about abandoning.I definitely don't want to pressure the author, I always want authors to work within a healthy deadline, but I confess that this delay makes me fearful of future abandonment. Very common in the best futanaris games.
In that case you need to rethink on how you handly player choices. If your story branches with every player choice into two branches, you end up at close to infinite branches really soon because that's exponential growth. This is one of the most common issues why games fail. Focus on telling a story. If you make branches, join them back together later on.The script for 3.0 is particularly long this time around as one of the scenes in it happens in four different ways, something I'm expecting to happen more and more as the web of player choices becomes more complex.
