Troll, no - upset, maybe ᕕ( ᐛ )ᕗ Really, though, my goal was to capture my own love-hate relationship with porn, especially of the taboo variety, by creating a game that itself loves and hates porn - and I think I would've been happier if I'd done it in such a way that satisfies fappers as much as horror readers, a certainly feasible task.

Nonetheless, for many, this vision worked out - and I'll only improve for next time~

I have some recommendations on the purely technical side of things. First you can use a image converter to change your .png files to .webp files reduce file size significantly. I use the program Advanced Batch Image Converter (ABIC, available on source forge) and at 95% quality it reduces file size of a .png by around 85-90% with very minimal concessions on image quality. You seem to be using some .webp images in your game so maybe you figured this out towards the end of development and couldn't be asked to go back and convert the old files.

The second recommendation is for HS2. In character creation when changing hair you can select between hair 1 and hair 2 for the rendering method of your character's hair. I'm 99% sure you're using hair 1 as their is a lot of pixilation around the edges of hair. Hair 1 only looks decent when you're rending at high resolution (4k+) and even then only when rendering close up shots. Hair 2 sacrifices a small amount detail up close at high resolution, but ends up looking a lot cleaner around the edges compared to hair 1. Finally, and you might be doing this already, rending screenshots at 4k and then downscaling them to 1080p generally results in better final images compared just to rendering at 1080p.

Ah, the hair advice is a huge help! I was wondering how to fix that pixelation.
WebP compression is something I'm aware of - I just thought the benefit of using it throughout would be negligible in this case since the game isn't huge to begin with, but I could certainly see the argument otherwise.

literally 2 minutes, choices mean nothing. 2 and half "scenes " that are in the game are super low quality for 2023. Its a joke made to promote his other low quality no effort "game"

Huh, has that happened with other RenPy games for you? I built the distribution pretty much as normal - only thing I did out of the ordinary was delete a few of the non-essential game files to hide my comments in the code that spoil everything, lol.

If anyone has any idea why the alert might be happening with a RenPy project, I'd love to know so I can fix it.

If its Norton, check the popup warning for more info on the file. If Norton does not have at least 10 users who have activated a new file it quarantines the file because it is TOO NEW (I think WS-Reputation is the reason listed). You would have to unzip the file again for the Norton popup to activate again. Since the reason for quarantine is based on people who overrode the warning & activated the file, Norton may allow for a normal install because enough users have activated it.
