I think I'm dumb, I just started the first new day and can't progress anywhere. I'm stuck in the cow farm at 7AM and it says I can't approach the aunt because anna is there but anna just talks about breakfast when I talk to her. I can't interact with anything else in this game, how do you progress past this point?

Same. After the first night, the game just seems to drop you into the second day with no guidance on what you're supposed to be doing.

There's not a lot to do in the early daytime until school or the laundry quest. See the phone for the girls schedules and events, the change logs you get with the game or the guide posted a few pages back.
