Ren'Py Completed Damsels and Dungeons [v1.2.41 Remastered] [Amaraine]

Let's give it a try...
Catacomb is straight forward and has 3 Levels (each level needs to be unlocked once) can find chests with Gold of Gems (need thiefs)
Tomb and Lich chamber are single levels (each level is unlocked in story progression) [unlocks Endgame and Maitreya]
West woods - 1 crossroad -> Coita (village that's constantly under attack)[first time defending will reward with either Gold or Felicity-> unlocks sub story and grants access to Carly] -> going south makes you find the Decadents Camp (buy Mana for 500 G if high reputation otherwise join an orgy for Reputation)
Blood Plains - 1 Crossroad -> temple (probably of Inanna) (you can gift adventurer and magical items for reputation) -> Chateu Base of the Dominas (can recruit Adventurers, either secretly with Reputation malus or for money, no malus[if Reputation is high enough]; Can submit to mistress for reputation Bonus but affection Malus with submissive Adventurers).
Can find and Recruit Lucrecia
Forsaken Desert - endless battles
Rocky Hills - you can meet Lilith the last of the 3 Avatars of the Goddesses/God - Base of the Reavers (3 consequently battles - Reward either recruit 1 of 3 Adventurers and gain some Reputation with Dominas and Decadents or recruit none and gain Reputation with all Factions)
Black Forest - Road to Orech (can Hire up to 3 Adventurers buy Potions for +Lust or -recovery time; Can recruit 3 whores once and donate 500 Gold to the Temples of Ishtar and Enil for reputation)- at the middle you can participate in a ritual with either followers of Ishtar or Enil

Several more bugs to report:

Orech city description is cut off with no way to scroll to see it all. 1920x1080 resolution, full screen.

It says 0 whores to serve them when there are 3 whores in the brothel, ready to serve.

Throughout the dialog, "come" is often used instead of the correct word "cum" (male semen/sperm).

yeah... but only if the town is currently NOT under attack dureing the second visit... afterwards repeat for the 3rd visit.
and obviously Felicity must ask for help with her sister before the 2nd visit (she won't ask for the 3rd visit)

Hello, I kind of have a problem with the brothel. Everytime I put girls in there and use the rest button this error will occur. Tried to find any solution from previous page on this thread but no avail. Anyone has idea about this problem? I'm using the version 1.9

I'm sad that this game doesn't have much of a following. Few players post here and the developer doesn't participate very often.

I am happy that the author showed that it is possible to do an RPG in Ren'Py.

My main complaint with the game is the lack of sex animations. This would make the game a lot more popular in my opinion.

My second complaint is the lack of diversity in the 'Aventure' encounters. The player is never driven back by a random powerful creature or NPC. The bosses in the game need a boost. They are too easy to defeat. The most I've had happen to my party was having one party member die because I wasn't paying attention to their hit points.

My third complaint is the overuse of repetitive dialog and sex descriptions. All twelve party members use the identical same sex descriptions for each and every sex act. After a particular sex scene is described, I don't even bother reading them anymore (sad). There should at least be a 'pool' of descriptions that can be chosen at random for each sex act to keep the player interested and engaged!

The main Problem seems to me, that the "story" is already completed, so anyone can complete the game without to much problems and it doesn't have much replayability value or game changeing decissions... which keeps people from paying much attention to it. The only REAL difficult encounter is the dragoness in the dessert, which is completly optional.
And yeah the H-Events leave quiet a bit to desire.
I havent't replayed the game since I completed it... with a self build team at the start all recruiting is optional and the pre defined team isn't the best combo... recruitment is either random and / or expensive aswell as based on higher tier battles with a random selection. Nothing that actually encourages a longer gameplay... the small areas are easily exlored and only few have Events that invite the player to actually take the time to explore them more than once.

The game is actually quiet fun for a RenPy based Dungeon Crawler/ RPG, but it lacks in it's key features and can't compare to games of other engines, the RenPy strong points seem insuffeciently developed and give it a "nice try" feeling

I think this game is both fun to play and has some very good sexual content. What you point out as defects are in my opinion just the side-effect of being a good sandbox-like game. It's more about making your own story within the game's narrative and in that it's some pretty cool piece of a game.
Each girl has a lot of scenes and there are twelve classes, so I cannot agree that the porn is lacking.

Could it be improved? Definitely. But it'd take a lot of effort and time. Maybe it will be done as development continues.
But I think that bringing the game to the point it's at now was necessary to give a complete experience and the polishing can be done moving forward.

the problem for a sandbox game is that there are no challenges and the exploreable areas to few...
The game get's repetetive quiet fast and aside from the endgame missions you don't even have any encouragement to recruit more than your 4 starteing girls.

This games strong point are the various fetishes included, but they aren't really build upon either...
It would be fun if the fetishes had more impact on the girls natural behaviour and for example exclude certain Events much more... I can turn a dominant girl into a sub for a few turns... enough to make her agree to become my slave.
Haveing a masochist gain pleasure from being injured is not included while a sadist can get pleasure from adventureing... even a proud girl has the same texts in sex as a sub or dominant.
All these things wouldn't be much of a problem normally as people might look forward for them to be included at some point... if the story wasn't already completed and hencefor give the player the feeling of achievement.... includeing after game content could fix that... but again the game lacks that. (if anything the 4 missions may be the after game content as certain criterias drastically change after defeating the Lich King)
That's sadly not a good standeing point to build a stable fanbase...

Also ALL characters (adventurers) are replaceable since all classes have the same faces and can get the same fetishes from equipment... certain fetishes are strongly encouraged, since they make manageing your Harem alot easier and all characters have a single class based event.
Haveing additional Character building Events/Missions that maybe unlock new traits (the dark grey ones) would be a nice idea. Some character classes aren't to useful throughout the game since their skill/trait gained from completing the single Event get obsolete (disappaering of the dungeon for the thief).

I just read the devs latest post. IMO he can add more story related elements to Damsels & Dragons. He should focus purely on one game (damsel & dragon) and go ALL in, then he'll see his patreon subs go up. It may go down before it goes up though which is expected.

I want to sub to his patreon, but I can't support devs who try to make two games at once.

IMO he should not add new characters to damsels & Dragons, but instead should focus on building story arcs for each character. The basic premise of a character story arc is:

1. introduce problem
2. build up sexual tension
3. problem solved
4. sexual climax with sexual encounter based on fetish

He's already doing the above by giving personal quests to each companion npc which is cool.

A nice gameplay Element that would drastically raise the challenge to the game could be regular raids on your base, by the reavers (based on your negative reputation with them, so they won#t just overrun you at the start of the game) or simple monsters, you can only defend with well rested adventurers and the dificulty of those attacks will rise from the start... (maybe recovering adventurers could have drastically reduced stats as they are still exhausted).
that would encourage players to atleast have 8 Adventurers, i.e. 2 higher leveld adventureing parties... currently only the repeated attack on Coita and the extremly rare uprising of the snakegod woreshippers on NPC locations are included... they can even be ignored for most of the time as they have no effect on the attacked faction.
The snakegod attacks 2 locations maybe even always the same, as I only encountered that Event twice and both times it was the Decadents Camp in Westwoods and the Temple in the Blood Plains... after defeating the "Crusaders " and their god there is no difference to the unsupported faction (you could visit them and offer money and Mana to rebuild what was destroyed for example)... not chooseing either faction within 10 turns could result in both locations to suffer heavy damage and cause your reputation drop to 0.
Also there is no further benefit than the blessings in Orech... and maybe beeing able to recruit girls from the Dominas (which is still expensive and random and for Reputation Malus you can just recruit them for free) from haveing a good reputation with any faction.
Haveing more Events to lower reputations with other factions drastically could also work as a reason for those factions to attack the Players main camp increasing the frequency of defence missions

OK, I've read all the countless complaints about the brothel not getting any customers. This happened to me also.

The problem lies with purchasing a brothel before you have any whores or slaves to work in it. This causes the brothel's reputation to decline to the max lowest value of -108. The problem being that the brothel never recovers, no matter how many whores or slaves you have working in it with lots of fetishes.

Assign one of your concubines to be the madam over the brothel. It helps for her to have lots of fetishes and the "Promiscuous" and "Lusty" traits.

Fix using the console (SHIFT - O):

brothel_rep = 120

After a couple of days, the brothel will start getting customers and making money. Enjoy!
