I actually made the deity genderless in the first chapter intentional. Just because I haven't decided yet what he/it will reveal itself to be. Will prob up a poll about it eventually.

I'll be honest, when i saw UE and also that was pre-made renders i thought: "Why ??????"
I mean, so far i NEVER saw any VN that actually made sense to be done with something else than Ren'py, excluding JP VN, why ? Well, if you are making a simple VN than there is no point not using Ren'py, the benefits has already been explained.
With Ren'py we could extract CG's, correct bugs, and make mods to improve the game...
I will check this out, but i'm already not expecting much.

Unity and UE4 both different game engines used to design your game. IMO UE4 better ease of use for graphics, unity better ease of use for coding/has lots of resources online.

My game was rendered in UE4 and made in Unity.

Whats the difference ? The way you need to code is different, the features they can offer is also different i won't say more about coding because i'm no coder, but it's way easier to deal with Ren'py. Unity and UE would be better for games more complex.

is made with Unity because he doesn't use pre-made renders, he use real time renders instead. For a simple VN Ren'py would fit way better for things me and other members already stated.

Good points:
* Nice renders, i really liked them but the girls noses looks too big and the tits seems a bit saggy but don't get me wrong i love big boobs!
* Interesting plot, is nice to see an intro where isn't the MC that explains everything with a monologue.
* It has some humor, i mean that "RIP" scene at the car was priceless lol!
* Models, well... DAT ASS!!

Bad points:
* No instant text.
* No rollback option.
* Only 1 save slot.
* No way to extract the CG's, at least that i know of.
* The things above can be easily fixed with Unity or you could swap to Ren'py

Aside from some things that could have been easily "fixed" it was a nice first version. I also would recommend you to add a little bit more sound like the girl's moaning and stuf like that, some animation would be great even if you just use a few images loops.

Thanks a lot for your review! It's very nice to get detailed feedback. I will take down your points and add them to my notes. Most likely animation won't be in CH2 because I am doing a bunch of extra stuff for the graphics specifically (compiling render engine into VXGI) but I will have partial animations for sure.

is there a way to make a CG galley on here possibly on the computer in the MC room to revisit scenes i mean i would love to make multiple saves for this if was renpy but based on the type of game it is i dont think thats possible

Not sure how to implement a full gallery, I know it can be done but it would probably take a while. I could make something like a dream option where you can replay lewd scenes or something to that effect.

I don't understand why some people want to knee-jerk engine-shame; Unreal engine is just as good a fit for static images as RenPy, and less restrictive for devs who want to think outside the box.

The downsides for players is they're less hackable (generally can't just use the console to fuck with things) and don't always implement basic VN necessities (like the atrocious way Harem Villa handles text speed). But a good developer can code their way through all that.

I completely agree. The major problem is the lack of cheats (a must in a porn game for a lot of people). However a clever dev could add it easily. Yes @psychodelusional I'm talking with you
