Well . . . by dint of the fact that this is a game, and it's determined by the choice of the player which storylines will or will not open, with none being deemed a deafult, then no, she can't have any of her own agency. She won't say "yes" or "no" to any available option without the players input, and the game often elects for those decisions to be made in-game, too.
D never actually chooses anything; the player makes all the decisions, because that's how choices in games work if there's no default. You want a MFF route with Elena, then you make the choices that will lead there. You want to have a D/F only route, then you make those choices too; funnily enough, if you want a MMF route, you have to make that choice, too.

VNs are basically the you chose your own adventure books that were popular with children when I was young. You read a storyline to a point when you had to pick one of two options and then skip ahead to a certain page to which you were directed and continue the story from there until you had to pick another plot route.
That being said YOU the player are actually D's personal deity controlling her fate. Your whims will decide what path she will explore. To make a pop-culture reference you're kind of like God (Chuck) in this last season of Supernatural.
Mr.Dots and his team gives you chances to opt out of a particular action. So you can have a D-Only-For-Me route, a D-Does-DMD route, or a middle ground of D's-Lez-Be-Friends route. It's all up to you.

What I do find interesting is how DMD has (more than most VNs) created a character in D that engenders such strong emotions in players. D seems to have moved from an adult fantasy game hottie to in a Pinocchio-esque manner becoming a real girl.

Yeah, I've previously offered the comparison of her story as being that of a fairytale princess, getting help in being released from an evil witch's grip and finding the real world can be so much more than she ever felt possible to realize. So, I agree it make sense that she's become the "real girl" now and all the benefits (plus detriments - see below) that should offer.

I still feel it could work as a heat-of-the-moment kind of thing that occurs, with someone like Elena (who we know has unexplored kinks to offer) to nudge that moment on. It's not necessarily a full fall into a sub-personality or complete moral degeneracy - more mainstream folks have fantasized and/or done weird or socially unacceptable stuff than we might realize and/or accept, I feel:

Stuff happens and sometimes people might look back and say, "wha?" at those times, eventually recognizing how various circumstances came together to make things happen which they may have grown beyond since.

Another option could be that D does go too far in her partying ways and has such an encounter when already under the influence of drugs which help lower her inhibitions, affect her judgement, make her easy to lead on (i.e., temporarily submissive again, but not in a role-playing manner), etc. That could be used as a wake-up call for her and her support network to pull back the reigns a bit, learning from the extreme experience on how to avoid such pitfalls in the future, etc. And, it would still fit into a heat-of-the-moment event, just with additional influencers beyond being in the thrall of sexual insatiability and Elena, etc.

That is - and we're touching on the "real girl" emergence idea again - all her lifestyle freedoms should ideally come with a dark side of unforeseen consequences by certain excesses, I feel. Stuff that she needs to learn has to have some boundaries for safety's sake, even when you're otherwise going all out to have fun, etc.

Let the DEV make a diversity of experiences for more people with different tastes.
What happens with D in all those alternative realities is only true for the observer, you don't need to take a stand for all the alternative realities, that is a question for the observers of those realities.

I'm not getting this option, I've double checked to make sure I'm in a relationship with Georgina but it's not giving me the option to "Make it work" it's auto breaking up with her. What is going on?

There's no choice, MC and Georgina just talk and then break up, with no "we will work things out". Like game automatically chosen to end this relashionship for us. I can turn relashionship back manually, I can load save from the moment after date with Georgina, but in 21.5 there's no choice during the date with Georgina.

Have to say after finishing this I'm honestly pretty unhappy with it. I left a detailed review however I can't help but feel this game is a way of making underage characters fuckable. Elena and D both have wildly disproportionate bodies, with their heads being massive and D's breasts appear to be rock solid. Elena especially looks like a 10-12 year old girl. D doesn't look much older, save the huge tits.

It honestly made me feel incredibly uncomfortable. The intent is obvious when it comes to the age of these characters.
