I've run the Mac version of 0.21 and 0.22, and both run fine. No errors loading my saves in chapter 2 to get my stats.
I ended up just putting in stats I liked. I made 3 games - one D only, one Georgina, one Jen. Elena on the last 2.
What issues are you having with the Mac version?
The jpg files are really webps with jpg extensions. Google webp to see how to look at them.
Jeff Steel please ask Mr.Dots to rename them to webp, so people don't freak out. Ren'Py can handle that.

This. I'm wondering this as well. If sharing points are needed for her to get down with the other girls then ok but I still wanna cock block the male NPCs.

All indications thus far seem to imply that even if you enable potential sharing of D with other men, you won't have to actually agree for that to happen when push comes to shove. Literally.
But, I could be wrong in my interpretation.
Still, all those against the idea, what if it is what D wants? Maybe consider another save path where you try it out and see how she reacts?
For example, I have a D-only save path where she and the MC are absolutely 1:1 with no deviations. They are marked in my save screens with a "D" to keep me on track.
But, I also replay each installment on an EVERYTHING IN THE UNIVERSE IS POSSIBLE path, because I'd like to experience all the content and perspectives the team has to offer, plus I'm really curious how the harem-ish and group sex situations will pan out.
I realize not everyone wants to see stuff against their general likes or whatever and respect each person's ability to make their own choices. I guess the thing I most appreciate is the ability to check out any or all options in a non-destructive manner, because the MrDots team has implemented a gazillion Save pages in Ren'Py and I can have one set of saves start at page 1, the next set of saves at page 50, etc. (which is not something I get in many games today, unfortunately.)

Does it matter what porn video you choose to have D and the MC watch?
Each video seems to prep a different path, so does picking a particular porn video eventually lead to game reflected sex event or block other events?
D and the MC kind of sounds like the name of a detective show from the 1980's.

You only get movies that advance your path. I have 5 different saved paths. Only once did two movies show up as a choice. If you chose the school girl movie you will get her to want to wear that later in the game.Does it matter what porn video you choose to have D and the MC watch?

Normally, chapter 2 opens and works fine. I could open the game and click on my save files without problems. I downloaded the game again (I deleted the old one), but it has been a problem. When I try and open the zip file there is an error message that pops up. After I hit okay and want to open the game, most cases the game icon moves than vanishes. When it does open, I wanted to load one of my 2 saved games, but an error message keeps appearing. Chapter 3 works fine, I was able to play it. Sadly, I had to do random numbers for the points.

There was no mention of the choice affecting anything in the walkthrough
Has anyone looked at the code to see if there are some hidden variables?

Yeah, this is what I'm thinking as well. I did use the walkthrough mod to check out the scenes I've missed going D only faithful. I guess a lot of context and build up is missed by doing that but man I don't wanna play through the first two chapters again lol. I'd have to make heavy use of the skip button. I do feel like I'm missing out without Elena. Yeah, hopefully I can stop the extracurricular dicking of D without being a jerk to her. I'm kinda doubtful of that though.

I wonder how much of a rift that will cause between D and MC if you take the steps to open all those doors but then ultimately opt out of them? I know that's asking a lot too soon probably.

Yeah, at the very least, the Elena extra content is worth the replaying, I feel. Just to compare to what you get with D-only, at the very least. Plus, she's been the ultimate caring friend for D: while realizing that she wants to be supportive of MC and D's relationship, she also wants to have private fun with them (individually, together), too. It's a good optional path to check out and quite non-competitive, IMHO.

I think so. One indication is you get the "Yoga teacher" video (BBC with gorgeous Leah Gotti) only if Martin complimented D in the first chapter.
Am I the only one having issues with LP not loading correctly? Following the WT it shows where you should be able to get the LP stats, however, they are not going up at all. I am stuck on whatever I loaded in. Or am I missing something here?

Its a bug and 200 is maxed for v.22 but the fix is done in v.22.5.

Decent update, enjoyed it. But man, not gonna lie, it's way shorter than I expected given the amount of time he has worked on it.

3 days full plays and more than 1700 renders , plus all animations . This is a huge update also if we consider 3 month from last update... So often i really don't understand what people can consider for Big Update ? 5000 renders ?
the reality is the only few people really know the amount of effort needed to do this work , but especially in this way (i can estimate 80-100 hours weekly ,also including the RL work ) ; if people really knew all this , they would really talk much less
