i tried installing this by replacing freshh game files with the ones in this mod. some scenes seem like it would continue, but return to mod's selection screen. is this normal?

mod's version isn't same as game's so mod working isn't guaranteed.

sure, just give to devs few thousand bucks and they will do it. save transferring works from dmd ch1 to dmd ch2 and on dmd ch3 you need to answer on 20 questions and from dmd ch 3 to ch 4 savetransferring works again.

The chapters are also in different Ren'py versions. That alone makes it almost impossible to combine them into one game without basically rewriting the whole thing from scratch.

that too. devs have/had plans to combine and do minor fixes but if/when that happens is totally unknown. most likely that plan was scrapped and dmd fantasy 2 will be last dmd game.

Elena is kind of annoying.

It's reasonable to be cockblocking a father daughter relationship, especially if she's actually interested in an exclusive relationship with the father, but as it stands she seems to be trying to hook up with every character in the game, including the daughter.

She wants him all to herself, but can't keep her legs closed for complete strangers, her friends, or even her BFF.
