Incest porn are getting/already popular. All porn site have it. The problem will be pedophilia. Any country banned it, even some hunt it down.

this isn't **********... if it states that all charters in the game is over the age of 18 or 21 and the game is a work of fiction then this shouldn't be an issue... if they do however ignore this they they'll have to also ban midget porn, any female pornstar star under 6ft tall, any female pornstar with small boobs (thats under a DD cup), any porn with a student/teacher plot, babysitter, incest plots.... something tells me that the ones who did pass this new law is scum thats into ********** or part of pizziagate and haven't been caught yet and now they want to over compensate because they guilty...

What a sad day for the adult gaming community. The big 3 will survive, they have a big enough audience to move to whatever site they choose and people will follow. They might take a hit but they won't die. As for the smallers devs, well that's another story. Many will be wiped out from earth. Sad day indeed.

Incest is more all less treated the same way pedophilia is in most of the countries. I wonder if that law might be able to remove it from the porn sites. Biggest porn sites in general are american so they might take it down as well.
Well, dunno about States but in Europe real life incest 99% ends as a rape or abuse of a daughter/sister by her father/brother. Those connotations are probably the case it's banned in real life and might be the case why it's being banned on the internet. In their message they picked only those forbidden fetishes so I assume it's all about violence

Yes but none of these games have violence. Sure the mind control can be debatable but banging your mom while being 18 or 21 is a completely different ballgame then a father banging his 10 year old daughter. This kind of stuff is rightfully so banned, even if its "fantasy" and/or cg images. In all the games there is a somewhat reluctancy because of the taboo around it. No game that i have seen had a forced situation. (the only game that had a forced rape scene was between non relatives, and the developer got a lot of crap over him for having it a) forced and b) no option to stop it.)
I can allready see a lot of games going the "The Twist" route where they where adopted as a baby or being stepmom/father. This would be (in my opinion) a bad development.
There are quite a few site that have some very interesting (real life) incest stories and most of them involve love, some lust. Why can't we explore these stories in our games...? Anyways i will stop rambling. Hopefully the good ones will survive.

Oh, I'm with you in that regard. I don't like it but I see no reason to ban it. I'm just saying it might be perceived as a medium for unwanted acts in real life. And from moral standpoint most of the stories in incest games is quite fucked so it's easier to pick on them. It might be really popular here but in real world it's at the bottom of the list and politics might want to keep it there

But I believe, since this involve a lot of money, Patreon Admin will make serious meeting and asking their own Term.
As Patreon using GoT as one of their example, clearly, Cersei & Jamei Incest Sex Scene isn't the "Survivor" depiction. It's just pure straight Incest Sex Scene and it's aired on TV all over the world, with exclusive for mature audience only. With that said, they should follow HBO example and allow all kind material under adult section. If any kids can access those adult products, it was Patreon who should be blame for kids can access adult section of Patreon.

I always hated how the politics and media blamed computergames (in general) for a lot of missery in the world. With all the hours i spend on Unreal tournament, doom, medal of honor, call of duty etc. its a wonder i havent invaded a country yet. But yet i have a job, i pay my taxes and i like porn. Should i blame Hugh Hefner(may he rest in peace) for my like for porn?
When someone shoots up a school like happened in columbine it is not the computer games that society blames, but society itself.
But i will stop here as i feel a mod breeding down my neck turning this topic into a political debate
An alternative to fix the problem would be to create an official website for each game/dev and offer paypal donations.

Hopefully since the update will come on a Sunday rather than a Friday that means Mr Dot's will release it earlier in the day. Previous releases in my time have been like 7-9pm which is a tad irritating. Also bear in mind that the 22nd is the date Mr Dots gave whilst he ok'd everything, if that process is completed faster with no problems arising he may release it earlier. We shall see.
the only thing i will say is that paypal will block anyone's account AND IP address IF it is discovered the paypal is processing transactions for any adult material (porn) a great many artists have been and lost money due to this

I think with this update the only new daughter stuff will be associated with the doctor/police officer routes that will become available. I think the main focus of this update is filling in side characters/plots. Could be wrong though wont know till we see the changelog.
