I have conspiracy theory the went bamboozle 100-200 pages ago, maybe more... the short of it is the Elena decided to dump him on the 1st, max on the 2nd date with Lucas, figuring him out to be a jerk and treating her like piece of meat... as she says in the cafe that she chooses always these types of men...
You stated the first guy was trolling but wasn't He was being sincere and did his responses and points well done. Baraka kinda went a bit overboard. But honestly you did say you were a writer for the game. I distinctively remember you saying that. Unless I read that statement dead wrong. If so I apologize. Yeah I understand why people are upset and to be honest I was infuriated with ending of 0.13. But it is what it is but at the same time when 0.13 had released. Aitan_3 made it clear that the Career paths would be done in one update. I respectively for most part told him that isn't possible. I knew it wasn't feasible and possible with renpy b/c renpy itself hates old variables being changed and having massive change in structure of its code. I am actually glad for this update since they focused on fixing the stuff from what I read which is amazing to say the least and I love the gallery function I read about and the built in cheats. In my opinion this was much better update than doing career paths. You got rude with both of them even though they weren't rude.
A game deserves to be criticized as long as its not blunt insult method. I like good feedback of all kinds being a video editor in the past. But don't get into an argument that doesn't have to do with anything with you. Why did you enter their fray? Let them go at each other. I made mistake in past of letting myself get too heated and realize the error of my ways. But when I first played this game it was at 0.12. For those who left after being patreons almost since the beginning I don't blame them considering the game is at a crawl due to how they are pacing the daughters progress. Which is fine and I actually liked that the daughter and father didn't go at each other so quickly. Just that people need to realize with this game for the story to progress as it is, its going to take a while and they need patience.

I never said that the carreer paths would have been added in one update. What I said is that MRDOTS SAID that he would have implemented them in one or two updates; I also added that until now he always managed to do what he planned to do. Both statements stand undisputed. And as a matter of fact, MrDots was not even proved wrong. Yesterday he confirmed that he might include those path in two udpates (and he always said one or two), he just decided it was not worth the effoert. He preferred working on the reward system and on polishing more other things in chapter 1, that's all.
As for the dude who was trolling: yes he was trolling. I answered his first post with a LONG LONG message where I explained why I think that chapter 1 does matter in the game. If you think that we did not finish any issue and only added more, you might want to read it too:

There I listed the plot points that got resolved and characterization progress that was pursued. However, he did not answer to that. He instead mockingly said: "could you please send me the copy of chapter one that you've been playing, because it does indeed sound very different to the one I've been playing", and I call this shher trolling. After that, he implied that I didn't do any research before writing, didn't read any erotica, and had a stupid/creepy outlook on how incest works in real life; he went on by saying that "you are worse at writing incest porn than summertime saga", and concluded saying that "you failed at what you thought chapter one should be". That's harsh, very harsh, and yes, rude. You don't tell anybody that sort of things so bluntly in real life, it's like throwing shit on his/her work, it means lacking basic respect for others' efforts, and in real life that might earn you much worse than a sarcastic answer. Try going to a public event with a writer presenting a book and telling her/him "you failed at what you wanted to do". It's not a matter of different opinions, it's a matter of minimum respect. I might be old fashioned, or maybe as an Italian I am used to a certain degree of formal politeness that is lost in other places. I don't think I am someone who ignores all criticism that gets close to go against my views - after all I am here, when I could easily avoid this place altogether. I ALWAYS answer politely to people who express politely. However, that guy was NOT polite, and in fact often you aren't either - you are just too blunt, too direct. You could use MUCH more dubitative sentences and modal verbs, but you always use the indicative, like your opinions were objective truth ("the game is not so realistic as you say" "you are so disconnected from the general populace" - by the way, you are NOT representative of the general populace, nobosy is, I just know for a fact that A LOT of people think of the game exactly as I do, and that might suffice for the DD project). I really think that people are losing sight of the import of what they write on the internet, it's like one take for granted that he/she can be as rude as he/she wants and then gets offended or shocked if people repay them with disdain. It so happens my friends, it so happens.
Other random things: I am 32, don't know if you would consider me too young. There are several instances of books written by more than one person (Deleuze and Guattari come to mind, and Wu Ming), and films and games are almot always written by more than one person. And this is all. Now excuse me, I am really busy with my real job, hope we can close this discourse as soon as possible.
