Hi,
The zip file for the mac version v.16 does not open for some reason and gives me an Error 2: "no such file or directory" Does anyone have a fix for this issue?

Download the Ren´py or WINE:

. Download the the stable version 1.8.3 and let it to do it stuff. Wine is making a Wine prefix file on your Mac and it can be used to play allmost everything, Unity, RPGM and some! And it´s not a emulator, so it doesn´t take so much space than some other softwares. I didin´t have any lag even when i played Artifact and i had some work systems, safari, mozilla, mail and then some open.

@esas has since added that downloading the wine browser is also a good solution for Mac-users.

A followup for Mac users: the "open in Ren'Py" using the Windows download works perfectly. I knew that there was a way to play Windows Ren'Py games on OSX -- I just didn't realize it was so easy!

But D herself stated several times she is an adult now and can decide on her own.
But probably one of those inconsistencies from early versions like ...
D stated she will have to go back in some weeks but we know she has to return in some days latest to be there for school.
At the beginning she Didn't even know why her mother wants her to come back after vacation.
Elena tells her das is not a good doctor ... seems there's not much Skill needed for complex heart surgery ... :coldsweat:

And she probably could, if she was still a citizen, and wasn't in school under her mother and step dads guardianship? Besides, this is fiction.

Alright, I finished CH 1 and went to CH 2. Except that it's not showing any saves. So I go back and complete my CH 1 saves half a dozen times. But CH2 still doesn't see anything. I then redownload and repatch ch1 and try again completing the game again, still nothing. I then try to download someone else save and complete that game, still nothing.

Is there anything I can do to make this work? I'm at a loss.

On the save/load screen for Ch 2, there should be an option on the top left to manually put in D's stats and the decisions you made.

How the heck did you manage that =) Well

. A tip for you and many others. The extractor you use can sometimes think an archive is corrupted (invalid checksum). If that happens try a new extractor first, as different extractors can use different methods for simular fileextensions.
@virtuvoid only the archive.rpa file is part of the 'new system' for ch.1

...maybe, just maybe, she's not eighteen...

See, that would make sense in a lot of games, where it's pretty clear that they're not 18, they're "18." They're "adults" so that their game doesn't get in trouble; but everything else points to them being much younger.

That's not the case with this game, though. She'd have to be 18 for the story to fit:

• She had the whole argument with her mom about being an adult, and her mom not being able to stop her from living where she lived.
• Her mom specifically said "well, you're 18 now, soo..."
• She was allowed to gamble in a casino. There was a whole long scene about it.
• She's going into college

It's pretty clear that she is 18. Which is why some of the dialogue just seems so absurd.
