MrDots has made several small postings on his own site since then.
Please note that on January 26, there was the announcement that an uncensored version of "0.16" would be posted on a pair of pay-for-download sites. Due to unspecified problems, this was NOT done.
So the situation is ever changing. People should keep their hopes up but take things one day at a time.

Are you looking for the the version posted to Patreon with no incest? Other than downloading it straight from his Patreon page, I'm not sure, but the obvious question is why do you want to play Dating My Daughter without the daughter being, you know, the daughter?

Of course, character matters. People can criticize D for her looks (face too doll-like, breasts too big). But her heart of gold many people--me too--love even more than her looks.
I also studied theater (but gravitated towards writing) and art.
Dialogues are far less important in VNs because the visuals are too over-powering. Trying theatrical techniques to progress plot and character traits won't work with your target audience [experiment : beta testing with voice-overs. Probably a futuristic idea].
If you chat with @RomanHume again, ask him about short-story techniques, especially to "define" characters. This seems like a better idea for now.

I would LOVE to talk about short story techniques! But I don't think this thread will be the place. I'll work something up in a post and put it in the forum for our game. Since our thoughts on story development are relevant to that thread I feel more comfortable posting something wordy there. We're wrapping up our next distribution now. After that is done I'll put something together for tomorrow.

Pusooy does it, other than losing the convenience of having Patreon handle payment processing then I don't see why Mr. Dots shouldn't explore setting up his own membership service that can be used to help fund his development and offer the same Patreon bonuses to members of his site.

Note that @F95 Zone is the reliable forum for our community. This is our foundation. All sensible devs--sooner or later--come here to show off their games.
I've never seen so little moderator involvement in threads here.
Since I do not believe these moderators are in any way lazy, there is an excellent chance that quiet negotiations are taking place between @F95 Zone and devs.
Something similar happened 3 months ago just before Lewd Patcher. (I almost got that scoop before it happened in a discussion with @Sam in this thread).
I hope something wonderful like that could happen for the community. DMD, BB and many other games may not be finished after all.

well if these game devs do come to F95zone i hope they do their format like Dark Cookie (once a version is done its out for all, previews and streams for those who pledge)... after all this is that type of site and most of us know what we're here for... i'm sure many ppl here will be willing to fund these devs as long as they're open..

someone (WITH FAR MORE GRAPHICS TALENT THAN ME) should create a game where a guy runs a resort on the beach, island, someplace tropic. a hot naive girl comes for a job. the guy hire hers, they have the hots for each other. she becomes friends with guys daughter who is a slutty girl who and encourages her to start sexual relationship with guy, the rest of the story is him and the slutty girl corrupting her, she becomes a twisted slut, the game end on her last day at the resort after they fuck girl announces she is his daughter. twighlight zone ending. maybe even do a black and white scene with a rod serling character "Consider this a horny older man and his slut daughter corrupt an innocent girl, all was good until you found out it was it was incest, you just entered the Patreon Zone"
