What I think is that the H-game community is becoming going too far into the spotlight and we all know that we can't just be open about this. People that are too PC are gonna sound the alarm.So I'd say it's a blessing in disguise because at least it would allow for people to be motivated to set up their own "H-Patreon". I think itch.io could have the potential to be the place where h-game creators and artist can post their content as long as it's regulated and whatnot.

I have a slight understanding. Incest content has not been banned per say but if a game is all incest content it will be. DoD changed the game as did MoTH so it is a lodger not related by blood. The game here is patched. BB and DmD just never changed it.
Patreon give an example on incest being allowed and that is Game of Thrones. Now my understanding is yes, there is incest in GoT but that incest is not the main focus of the story. It is a side arc that shows up rarely. While BB and DmD were pretty much incest. It can be part of a story just not the main focus of said game.

So what is the magic number of relatives a character can bang? Does Patreon have some incest-sliderule for establishing when enough is enough? Are blowjobs lower on the scale than anal? Can you have a game called Fucking My Daughter But Not Dating Her?
This is smart on Patreon's part. If you ban all games with any incest content out-right there would be a vast pool of potential customers for another site to emerge. but if you only go after offenders that have reached an arbitrary to much family no-no activity then there are not enough defectors to make another site profitable.
I may be wrong but as the threat of competition ebbs Patreon will become less accepting of taboo sex.

Good point. I posted last month over in Patreon an observation that in DMD, eye fatigue for me in reading text started about the halfway mark of the computer screen. Any sentences longer than that, and for which I was not emotionally invested, often were not read fully - or were even skipped.

Thus my theory:
1 - if it is mundane (how was your day - I’m going to the store - etc) dialogue that moves the scene, but the reader has no emotional investment .... then keep it around half the computer screen or less in length;
2 - if I had an emotional investment causing me to read the whole line, then it could go the whole line, then okay (“Dad, Elena and I want to do a threesome with you up at the snow cabin on Saturday night, okay?”
3 - if it is super important, then keep it short as well. (“Dad, I’m pregnant...” [next panel] “...with your baby.”)

It look like Mr.Dot has updated his Patreon website and it stated NEW GAME COMING SOON. On his website one of the paragraph said this, " It will also keep me motivated to not give up and not quit the project, because you trust me with your hard-earned cash and I would feel like s*** if I disappointed you. Ok, here is the deal. Since November/2017 I started to develop an website/croudfunding exactly like Patreon but focused on adult content. I have my own company since 2010 and I am computer programmer since 1998. So my partners and I decided to fulfill this lack, and we thought that we would had time to make it robust and launch before this Patreon's mess happend.

We already are at test phase, for now, all payments and recurring will be made by PayPal (yes, we had created a business account on PayPal). We are taking this very serious. So, in about 2 oe 3 weeks we will be launching the website and hoping that all the Adult Creators migrate to our croudfunding.

We are going to give full support for adult content creators, but of course, all that is right by the law!

That is why I really need to talk with DarkSilver, MrDots and the guys from SummerTime Saga, because they will be the next on Patreon's aim. I want their help to test the platform before we launch.

I hope that we can help each other to have a secure and good place for everyone express their artistics habilities.

Yes, I know, V.0.13 is the end of the BB... actually I don't mind it at all. (I was a fan at v0.7-v0.8, but I disappointed to the game.)

In this case its more related to the obvious incest. This all seems like buildup for Patreon to go public later on, and image is something investors etc care a lot about, so it's definitely possible for them to get rid of adult games from the site eventually.
