This is hilarious. I love all the people speculating that this update would be a blowjob. Nothing will stop this dev from milking the utters of this golden cash cow. He seriously just released an update that offers a fetish that only a minority of people will enjoy. Footjob is a big time hit or miss. Before the whole patreon fiasco I knew not to expect significant progress with D because milking was his obvious choice, so complaining was pointless. DMD 0.16 saves don't work--100% sure.
That's what MrDots announced--it's happened that way.
You have to download 16.5.
Since DMD 0.14 is not compatible with 16.5, you'll also end up needing 14.5 (that dl is in the thread but not yet in OP).

FYI: I have not upgraded to 14.5 or 16.5 - I still have v.14 and v.16 (with latest patches).

Starting v.17, I was able to see all my v.16 saves and continued the game from there! No weird manipulations of any prior saves.

So, v.17 seems compatible with v.16

I've never found rape to be appealing, but I understand what you mean when you say that you can be fascinated and turned on by something you have no real desire to engage in. I live the update, and in a way, it's kinda sad we are not going to have monthly updates anymore due to the whole Patreon Fiasco!.

I wouldn't really mind if they did this, i find the whole legal battle plot kinda weak since she's an adult and it only serves the purpose of having an enemy for a few episodes... though i agree, it may feel a bit rushed...
Other than that it was a nice update

You do have a point, but I expect MC and D leaving the country to be the end of 2nd chapter. Were they to fly just after the hiking, it would make the second chapter end after roughly one in game week, instead of the two weeks long first chapter. This said, better a shorter chapter than an abandoned project, but the slow, and thus realistic, speed of development is something I really appreciate about this VN, so I would be sad to see it rushed.

Although let's hope the next update will come at all. I am somewhat hopeful, but have to fight my pessimism as well.
