Yes, it very much does. DMD is being blatantly used to transition patrons to Melody. "Promises", usually kept vague, are being made to DMD fans. These are basically "fan-service"--and ever-changing.
So, we will see moving forward. Many things will be event/money driven. Many of those outcomes are still in doubt.

I can already tell you how the Melody game will go. Character development will be slowed down by lots of contrived events like her shirt getting wet. Then, once the two characters have finally been developed and are clearly in love, a bunch of side adventures and extra girls will be implemented to pad out the game and keep their relationship from progressing. Then Patreon will go full Youtube and ban all nudity and sexual content before the game is finished.

I'm sure MrDots is aware, but there are quite a few payment gateways that have options for "high risk" transactions. There's one called Securion Pay that may work rather than PayPal?

I've thoroughly enjoyed DMD, and would love to see updates more frequently. Maybe this would help?

Melody game can't be as strong as DMD simply because this seems to be a revenue generator, and DMD was a game created not solely for cash.
Plus Patreon banned most of the sizzle content, look at how Coceter Chronicles had to go back and remove Tabbie MC character and puppy porn.

well im currently working on completing the rewards, i have about 12 to go (d-only coz sweet dreams my princess is next). though i do have to say i dont enjoy the prospect of replaying constantly just to get the rewards, its a great game but youd be bored of any game if you had to replay it multiple times :/
