Edit: to keep it on topic, someone was asking about a release date, Mr Dots usually releases the game the last weekend of the month. so 24/25th, or maybe even the last Friday of the month.

I have supported DMD since the beginning and have no idea which comments you are talking about - MrDots originally laid out that Patreon is for Melody and offsite payment methods are for DMD:

Patreon has thousands of patrons and the assertion that they are actively checking on his offsite activities to see if he's at all using his Patreon-routed funding for other activities strikes me as improbable. He is putting out a successful game in Melody right on their very pages and advertises its schedule in the open. It has even been discussed that Melody pledges could pause their payments for the DMD month as an option (I am not sure if MrDots has considered pausing his collections during those same months.)
I have no idea where you are going with Paypal owning Patreon - MrDots simply moved from BMAC to another payment processor (HumbleBundle) that as its own options: credit card, Paypal and Amazon.

I already downloaded Chapter 1 with MEGA, but it seems there is no sound in game? There is no music and general sound. Is it a bug? Or my download is corrupted?

BMAC, New Payment Method, Release Date And Other News
Hi guys,
It’s been a while since I’ve shared some news about our plans with you, and I figure that now is the best time to do so.
I’ll be discussing a lot of things that have happened to us over the past few months, so this is going to be a very detailed post. So please read it carefully.
What happened to BuyMeACoffee?
Many of you may have already noticed that we no longer support BMAC as a payment method. This has happened because BuyMeACoffee is not a reliable platform for us anymore.
Back in early August, BMAC sent creators an email stating that they will no longer accept Paypal as a payment option.
Among their reasons, they blamed the adult creators for this coming to this decision (as usual).
BMAC’s email.
Not having Paypal as an option obviously hurt our income, as most of you use Paypal as your preferred way of donating to our cause.
Anyway, we stuck with them because they promised to pay our remaining balance as soon as possible.
Well, it’s been three months since I requested the payment and I’m still waiting.
We’re not the only ones though, as many people who use BMAC have made complaints on Twitter.
Overall, we decided not to continue with this platform anymore and instead we are now with
Since we made the change, we’ve started to receive Paypal donations again (which we are really grateful for), and we’ve received our first payment from HB last month.
But this means that our password-protected page is no longer a viable method for sharing our game.
So from now on, if you want to get DMD v0.20 (and future updates) you will have to donate using the new payment method. Sorry about that, but that’s just the way it is…
New Website
We’ve also decided to change the look of our website (mrdotsgames.com) and to merge it with our DMD website.
And the reason for this is simple: We plan on creating more games after DMD and Melody are completed and we’ve realized that creating individual websites for each game, wouldn’t exactly be a wise decision. That’s why we merged DMDgame.com with Mrdotsgames.com.
Another problem we always have during release dates is the constant server crashes. Hopefully, this doesn’t happen anymore. But we’ll find out what happens later this month!
DMD v0.20 release date and new previews
We’ve set the release date for DMD v.20, which will be Friday, November 30th. We are working hard to see if we can release the game on November 24th, but for now, we’ll stick to the first date as to make sure that the update isn’t rushed, and we can include as much content as possible.
Plus, we’re well aware that this will be the last update of DMD for 2018, so we really want to go out on a high!
IMPORTANT: A LOT of important moments will happen in this update. So, make sure to tell everyone whom has an interest in DMD, that they definitely don’t want to miss this forthcoming release!

You can play Chapter 1 on its own, then Chapter 2 can either pick up from the last save in 1 or you can specify a starting status manually.

That post of info from Mr Dots -- I see it was posted to mrdotsgames.com but I'm curious if others also got it via email? Since becoming a patron of Melody a while back I've been receiving emails from him when DMD is updated with added emails for preview images and whatnot, but did not receive any email with that post.. just want to make sure I'm not missing out. :eazyHype:
