Having been forced by P to do two VN's at once and busting their asses as they have been with large action packed updates every month was starting to wear them out, since they had no time to relax, so they decided to take a break after the Christmas release.
We will be seeing Melody with her feet pushed back behind her ears in February.

It seems people forget that DMD 0.20 have more than 1400 renders itself,and Melody 0.07 more than 1000 renders.And some that makes same amount of money or even more are happy with around 100 renders per month.
I just thought of something twisted that the MrDots team could do.
A while back they announced something about issues with people cheating and raising their stats with programs and such.
Well, they could set the game so that if anyone was cheating, the MC gets arrested and goes to jail.
It should be easy to implement, also.
All they have to do is figure the max legal stats a player should have, and set the system to lock up anyone that exceeds that number by too much.
With the last scene showing the MC in prison clothes, and a really big guy, with his hand on his back,, smiling, and pointing to a quiet jail cell.

MrDots is definitely one of the most reliable dev around, I actually don't remember him missing a single release date so far (except during all that Patreon drama).

Hello... -To people who comes from the top... it's gonna be a long post-
I am on this forum for more than one year, but it’s my first post.
I’m a bit shy. I’m french, not confident in speaking english (apologize for my english), and the forum has something that you want to keep it secret…
But I wanted to express myself about F95, porn and taboo games, and this place is maybe the best to do it.
Because, as many people think here, DMD is the best game in the style, and just for that, I have to thank Mr Dots, all his staff and around (Mr. Steel ((« dont l’avatar est chan-mé » as we say in french)) for sure). And I wanted to do a few remarks about.
Three things I want to say. In a way, it’s critical opinion, but my goal is not to complain. More to explain a point of view about the problematic of porn game, and taboo in particular.
First is about F95.
Except the inherents problems of every forum (stupid conflicts between people because writings don’t express the real way of thinking of the writers), this one is cool. People are respectful, in good mood, and the humour is not pervers. What is surprising, in fact, because of the subject. In many games, players has to corrupt people into fucking him, sucking his dick all the time, doing money, be strong and fuck, in the large sense, everybody. All what people criticized about GTA are just osties and mess wine near all what we have to do in all these games.
Actually, the cool atmosphere of F95 proves that it’s all in the game. Because of my job, I know people who cannot precisely make the difference between game and reality, and in F95, everyone would be afraid of them.
Fo all these, F95 is a good element for a general and philosophical theory of games.
Second is about the limits that we can see, and that we can feel.
At the opposite of what I said, the word « pervers » is bad considered here. And that’s surprising too. In my opinion, and many psychanalyst are in the same : we are all pervers, and that’s totally normal. I even think that people who absolutely block his perversions are more pervers than the others. And that we need to know about the perversion of a girl before having a real relationship with her. And that we have to accept the perversion of a friend or of a girl that, to say that he’s a friend, or that we love her, etc.
All these games make that we can live our perversions without causing any trouble to anybody. So why still having a taboo about this word, and what he represents ? These games are made to express perversity, the perveter they are, the best they are too. Actually, people here knows that and just takes care about not shoking the others, and I understand, but I wanted to defend this idea.
And perversity is an exigeant thing, as Sade said. That’s why everybody prefers realistics stories. That’s why in general the best story will be the most pervers and the most realistic.
Third is about DMD, for sure.
Here, I will speak like an emotional fan.
Oh fuck I love this game. The first time I played, I don’t remember which ‘day’, but it ended with the first naked night – when if you are in the ‘just-d’ way, she touches yer dick. It took a long time, and it worked like a good serial (with suspens, etc.) And, because of my intellectual status, I thought about it a lot. It was really well developped, and it expressed the subtil way of perversion. We could compare it to Lolita from Nabokov.
And compared to LOP, and these kind of games, it was an amateur one, and that was one of the elements which made my opinion. Really, bravo.
BUT, I had a little critic to do to it, and with the time, it grews up. And it’s about the question of perversion. I think that a few people said it on this thread (I used to read it precisely, but I’m french, it’s a bit difficult and it has been mayhem at one time, and now really less. Sorry for that).
At the beginning, F was more clearly pervers. THE fact who proves it (in front of a judge), it’s when he pretends that touching the boobs are a kind of ‘special message’ to help the back. In fact, that’s true, for girls who have big tits – but in general a good father advices a better bra. And after this, all his blabla to make her strip, to have a shower with her, it’s very subtil. Because it took a long time, and at each point there really is something more. Torture will never stop… At the opposite, that’s clear : I was like everybody, and, I was always saying : but when I gonna fuck this fckg bitch ?!? But that was good. Really.
But I was afraid, first, when she asks to go out with. Because, that could turn in a classical love story, with all the classical problems. Actually, there was something really awesome, the day after : you understand that she doesn’t know what it means. She had something about Kelly Bundy, t’was perfect.
But, in the chapter 2, all the pervers things has disapeared, or has just been transfered to the adultere question – we have to confess that he dirtily cheats and lies on her. I think that all the juridic thing was here to recall that she was a daughter, and not just a girlfriend, but it wasn’t enough. She makes the progression of the sexual affair. F is just passive and follows D. In a way, it looks like a normal love story, a LOPgame.
Maybe D could have been more transformed by his mother, and she could have been in the mood to want to go with F but not to continue the love story. Saying, ‘it was really cool, but it’s not normal, we cannot do that, you are my father’, etc. Here, F would have had to seduce her again, making her remember the good feeling of hugs, and special messages, and all these things. Because of the first steps in the first chapter, it could have been really quick (when you seduce an ex, you don’t pass by all the first steps you passed the first time, you just fuck her). And at each step, she could just say, the first days – « yesterday we made bad things, but today we have to be quiet… » And finally fuck her too. And still be a rabbit with the other girls.
But as we say : if you ‘re not happy, do better. And I wouldn’t do better…
And it’s the first game in this style which has been seriously developped, so congratulations and keep on

Good idea, but that is so not Elena's personality. She is aggressive and dominant. Lil red head be more in that direction....hell, even D's personality is more suited for it than Elena's.
