The main reason for that is because of Patreon.The game was suppose to be exactly the same number of updates we will get with 4 chapters now-around 35.Easy to calculate that the end was suppose to be around the end of 2019.

Eh, don't see how my logic is wrong, after all at no point in time during the game the Father stops dating his daughter or even considers doing it. You can follow a daughter-only path, or a total horndog that fucks everything that moves, or anything in between but the daughter is always there, so it's still in line with the title despite the way he handles the relationship being different depending on the circumstances.
I can't comment on how the game was supposed to be in the far past because I just tried it recently, but the daughter has been an extremely naive child since the very beginning of the game that I played, and her mindset hasn't changed one bit so I don't see how you can justify her suddenly having any agency of her own at this point. Maybe if she finds out about the father cheating, but he probably can BS his way around that too...

It seems that DMD player preferences have split yet again.
There is the D only path. In which D and F are developing a monogamous relationship.

I like this game, but for me it is monotonous, I don't know if I only have this impression.
Animations are similar everywhere, there is little variety in this game.
I don't know if anything has changed, I'm afraid to come back to this game.
I admit that in CH1 and CH2 it was a bit interesting. There were these emotions then, MC tried to form a relationship with D, tried to make sure nothing got in their way (Rachel for example) when D was taken from MC at the end of Ch1, then I was devastated, I wanted her back as soon as possible. Meeting D on the street in Ch2 was exciting and emotional..
There was a lot going on then.
But from Ch3, when the MC with D already leading a happy life, it becomes monotonous, as for me - boring.
I don't know if I'm the only one who thinks so.

IMO monotony depends on what path you are playing.
D only path appears to be same-thing-different-update with no expectations of new challenges.
D sharing is setting up D's future sex activities in Chapter 4. Unfortunately it looks like D will not be as sexually active as she was envisioned to be when DMD began.
For me chapter 2 was the most boring of the game, I liked that in chapter 3 you have the possibility to try new things (in terms of sex) for D. To vary things a little.
But if you are on D only path, I guess chapter 3 must be more monotonous, I probably wouldn't be able to play the game that way since I already had such a hard time finishing chapter 2.
