People who aim to restrict the ones who they pretend to "love" don't really love them. They are selfish and unsecure, always fearing of loosing the one they want to own ... yeah, true love, my ass.
I'm living for nearly a decade with my current (and hopefully last) partner ... neither she nor I could accept that the other wants to cut their free decisions ... and that's (besides unlimited trust and honesty) the main reason we are happy together. You honestly think it's mrdots fault we haven't had sex with D yet? You've never had to deal with Patreon's bullshit censorship.
You're also deliberately not mentioning the part where he criticises (and blames) Patreon for the direction this game has gone since the last policy change. He's bringing it back in line with his original vision now while he looks at alternative hosts.
The only reason he's going to slow development of DMD is for two simple reasons:

I don’t think Dots is going to switch to the new project. I think he’s going to make a small Patreon approved game as a front to keep his account, his supporters will realize that it’s a front and keep supporting him and he will use that to fund DmD. Obviously production for DmD might slow down a bit in order for him to create a PC/PG game for Patreon but I doubt he’s going to abandon his cash cow now that interest in it has doubled.

Guys, i just finidhed ch1 and tried to install ch2 0.16 on my android, but an error says "the app coflicts with an existing package" what should i do?

i suggest you to move your save from his folder and delete ch 1 , install 2 and try to move your save, if don't work start from ch2 it will ask you what is your previous selection on game... so i play on pc but i think is the same on android.. hope it will help you and remember my is only a suggestion on what i do in your situation

Hi Max (what a nice name ... maybe you should try "Big Brother", even if it's dead by now).

Situation: Dating my Daughter is a game planned in 3 parts.
Part 1 (aka chapter 1, ch1) is finished with version 0.14.
Part 2(aka chapter 2, ch2) is ongoing. At the moment the current versions is 0.16

Patreon banned the game, because it violates their new terms of use (TOU) (because DmD contains incest and maybe other unwanted content).
The links in the 1st post of this thread should be uncensored.
@All please correct me if I'm wrong here.
DO NOT copy ch1 and ch1 in the same folder. (technical seen) They are different games!

For the moment MrDots (the creator) is allowed to keep his Patreon account - but he has to stop every mention of DmD on Patreon and has to work on another game that satisfies the TOU of Patreon.
So he can gets funding from via Patreon, but officially one can only support him for his work on his new project. DmD will be continued without connections to Patreon.

Dont donate him, he dont deserve it anymore. He is creating a good quality content, but like lot of people said it already, he is milking his donators for some time.

I think Alcesto is wrong in this point!
MrDots overcame similar (but less serious) problems with Patreon before. And he didn't let us down in the past. Why mistrust him when we experienced a better behaviour?

the last 20 pages or so are all bullshit spam. unless his new project is just a cover to satisfy patreon cucks, then DMD will soon die. he has a chapter and a half left, if he slows down because working on 2 project, you wont see the end at least 2 more years. if it is a cover, why does he have to do any work on the other game at all ? just add 1 scene per update and focus on DMD.

Then it dawned on me...

Patreon is privately owned.

What happened to them ?

Did they get a new president that wanted to make their mark by changing everything ?

Is it this new cultural phenomenon called SJW ? They were pressured in doing this, in cracking down ?
