Everybody wins, right? One MMF scene canceled out in a way that doesn't betray story development while subtly referencing an interesting set of standards players may have in their fantasy AVNs.

Then all that's left is to bang out a scene with Ryan and move on to the Chapter 4 denouement ending with Lucas going full Mark David Chapman on F and D as they leave a restaurant. If the Dots team is really done telling this story, what better way to put it to a final rest?

Sorry then I misunderstood you, but dont understand why you even started talking about NTR since that was never the problem...

This was a reaction to a few pages back where people who did not read the dev's NTR definition (read: the official, standardized one) and claimed that sharing is NTR and thus is in the game.

It's frustrating that some people are defining NTR as any situation where the number of penises is greater than one. It's my understanding (based on my meager reading comprehension skills) that NTR is about the absence of consent in the way that stealing and sharing are two very different things.

Didn't check this thread for a few days, and I learn only one MMF scene in next update and then only in final chapter as "bonus" scenes. Fuck, won't repeat everything everybody said, only that I very much agree that MMF scenes were teased for a long time, not only with Martin, and so it doesn't seem fair.

Never paid for it, but I strongly feel that MrDots had a goldmine of characters with DmD, art and writing was great for a long time, but now we will have another boring vanilla harem follow up and more scenes with MC and D. Seriously what more can they add to Dad & Dee scenes ? Dad grows 2 more dicks to fuck her in 3 holes at a time ? We've had enough of these.

They never really found the magic of DmD in their other games, Melody lost a bit of it, Sunshine even more, I really wish circumstances didn't rob them of their freedom to create and make DmD full time as they initially planned it

I just found it an interesting observation that an MMF with F,D,Martin could actually be addressed and rejected in the game while remaining consistent with the story development (we have no idea if Martin would be down for an MMF in any situation, let alone one with two blood relations).

I also completely agree that the main story arc of the game has always been about D's developing independence/agency. I've said before that I see her now as being as much of the protagonist as F is, and the story from this point forward should be highlighting that reality. The storyline of her continuing along her corruption path could be handled via a scene with Ryan while the Martin story still (based on events to date) could unfold in a few different ways. D could be the one to propose the MMF to F and Martin (a sign of her growing agency and corruption), and Martin could in theory reject the idea in a manner consistent with the story.

Exploring how D might process Martin's rejection of the MMF might be an interesting pathway. Would it lead to her thinking about how she's grown as an independent woman and what she wants for herself? Would she, after hearing her own mother's confession, reconsider whether being with F long term is the right thing for her and whether she's outgrown a physical relationship with F and that it's time to move on?

There's a lot of interesting psychological development to be had that has been hinted at throughout the story. I fear however that you are right and that any pathway that doesn't end with F and D married with child is going to be left to die on the side of the road. And yes, it's not exactly what has been suggested if not downright promised over the last couple years.

If the team is scaling back the attention given to MMF primarily because of complaints from the peanut gallery, I think that's a shame.

The anti-NTR crowd has once again ruined yet another game/visual novel that started out with multiple paths for corruption. I imagine they'd balk at the idea of something as simple as pouring chocolate syrup on vanilla ice cream. If Mr. Dots is that tired of working on this game though, should just fucking end it outright instead of developing another chapter. The story between the MC and D is effectively over at this point. There's no need to drag it out further if the other paths are being cut out.

We know it would/could have been sloppy. It was their first game. Scheduled events may/would have taken place as alluded to from the beginning. What could have been? The writers are not guaranteeing anything, but they may take a look into some of our gripes. We will have to wait and see.

Clearly you ignored how it was being built up from chapter 1 and all the tags that existed because of it. However, such cases were easily avoided where people would never have to actually see that content play out. There were plenty of people that were interested in seeing that content along with all the vanilla stuff too, now that's been ruined in yet another game because those that scream the loudest got another dev to cave to their ridiculous bullshit.

And I bet future games won't have it either. And I can't blame the team and other devs for not including it. It's impossible to deal with such toxic "fan?"base so it's better to cut them off.

I agree with this problem. We give a definition of what we mean by NTR, and say we will never have NTR (under that definition) - and then when we do something outside of that definition, people call it NTR.

None of this was an issue until Ch3 started. Search "Martin" in this thread, and look at the pages of comments. Almost all of them are from this chapter. People came into this thread and complained about those paths even existing, completely ignoring that they should've been started a long time ago or that they are easily avoided. Literally after every update, for the next few days, the thread more or less became unreadable. Now, some people also asked for that content that hadn't posted before, but most of the aggression is from the anti-share crowd.

The MMF paths started in Ch1. They got ignored for Ch2. They are now being rushed to finish in Ch3, and will be sidelined completely in Ch4. People who like that content, from either a fetish or a story POV, have every reason to be mad about it. The D-only crowd have gotten the large majority of the content in this game. And the frustrating thing is, they say to just go play another game or make your own, DMD was always supposed to be like this. It's called "Dating My Daughter!!". But that is both a hypocritical and inaccurate thing to say. Why can they not make their own game? Why are you ignoring the previous story progressions? You do realize that you have already gotten the large majority of the content, right?

It's like one person eating a full plate of food, while another eats some scraps. The person eating scraps asks for some more, and the person eating a full plate yells at them and says "You already got your food!" as they continue to stuff their faces.
