thats different:
- artist need money
- get a commission, the patron tells what he want
- artist feel enthusiastic and inspiration. even if he didnt decide to make this art, its still his hands that creates it.
but what we have here is:
- artist is creating something, he start to "paint"
- people start to complain, no, u cant use purple color, u should use green.
- artist stop using purple, he knows he will anger the mob if he continues to use it.
- artist is now using green, but its hard to make it right, its not what he had in mind.
as a dev I know how hard is to "change", from a inspiration and motivation perspective.
I have an idea, but people are telling me I cant. it will feel forced to do what others want.
that a killer for me. I need to find other motivation forces. like "good rates", "lots of patrons", "money"
but its still not the same as the initial idea. thats the creative part of me, the other is just skills.
