I just started playing these fake choice porn games a few days ago and after playing a few I'm left wondering wouldn't it be easier to just make a movie? Is it because making videos about incest is frowned upon? Patreon money? Or am I just missing the point of these games?
No matter what mandatory "choice" I choose the same thing happens every time. Like how many times do I have to keep telling that pervert with the camera I don't want them taking pictures of my daughter? Looks like the 3rd time I'll be forced to let them anyway so why bother pretending you have a choice? Or maybe the point is to watch him perve on his daughter and not care about the story? Other than that I like the game.
I'm new to these kinds of games and these are probably stupid questions, so excuse me.

My bad, I just looked at the achievements and the reason they keep coming back and repeatedly asking is because I guess you're supposed to let the perverts take pictures of her. Maybe I should've played more before posting it's still fake choices but I stand corrected. lol

The main reason for player interaction is to "immerse" players in the game to keep them interested. Yeah, at times it seems like all a player can do is choose to avoid a scene.
A player can avoid the creepy brothers. D will eventually have 2 photo shoots in Chapter 1. One of these will be with Dad, the second can be either with Richard or Georgina.
A player can make a "save" which can act as a place holder. By making many saves, he can play different paths which also can branch out in many directions. Avail yourself of a walk through to either guide or edit your choices.

Using a walkthrough seems like you're cheating. I'm doing a no sick pervert run (choosing every non perverted) options minus the forced choices, and the mental gymnastics he use to rationalize molesting his daughter anyway is hilarious. lol
All of the random click to french kiss/grab boobs segments are a little jarring but all in all great writing and art work.

Except some choices are purposely counter-intuitive. If points weren't important and the (roll) back was good, I prefer the positive vibes approach without a walk through.
But in this game, too much is points dependent. Explore for yourself until you believe it. After you believe it, use a walk through.

Really? I only remember one scene that needs a counter-intuitive choice to get the best result. It's when you have to tease D instead of praising her singing to get all prices at Cupid Night ^^

A really terrific find, bro! I only play a D-only route so am largely unable to help Harem people. But I will duly remember this workaround, and be sure to urge some of my buddies in this thread to check out more uses for this workaround.
Literally, a handful of threads were started searching for workarounds to get scenes from other paths. But if your workaround can be used instead, it will quickly become the go-to method.

What I can say from the test that I've done, is that you do get to demand from Maria the pay you deserve. From that point, I changed my status with Georgina back to "yes" and stopped there. I've not gone all the way to meeting Cassandra after this run-though to see if you can purchase the membership to her studio. That's what I want to determine next. But I'm.. well, about 45% sure it can be done.

BTW, I forgot to mention that when I began this test using v0.18, I used the stats from chapter 1 and typed them into chapter 2 and started from "day 0" using the "harem" route. I've already got a D only route going.

That's affirmative.. And that's not from doing a new run-through from CH.1. I took the stats that had already existed from CH. 1 and manually typed in the information to begin CH. 2. I would venture to guess this is a bug..

Well, that aside, the trick worked for getting more moolah while still maintaining the harem route and getting the extras faster (such as the doctor's note). I wasn't sure it would work (there's a lot of periodic maintenance required along the way) to begin with. I was surprised and pleased it did.

I copy the files from 0.17 to 0.18 (Game /save)

But that does not work

When I create a new Savegame in the 0.18, there is nothing in the save folder

Where are they ?

Good eye, bro! Think a little about the problem. I hope you're able to try at least a couple more test drives to improve things. Maybe tomorrow? If things go swell, this is shaping up as a GREAT workaround.

Well, my thought was to restart chapter 1 on the harem route again and see what my stats are by the end of the game (to determine if there is a bug in ch. 2).

Once I begin chapter 2, I'll input the information into it and go from there following the periodic adjustments needed to keep from losing the huge payout after basically telling Maria what she can do with herself. lol

I should know more by the end of the game, though I don't see this workaround failing as it stands currently. It should do the trick.

Before I forget, was there anything besides purchasing the membership at Cassandra's studio for the D only route? I'll keep an eye out for those to appear or not during the harem route.
