Cracked versions are online save compatible. Offline saves will not work for online/cracked.

Its on the first post, its one of the attachments. All the back ups for all the games.
Think I got my answer from the OP. Downloaded version does not have a backup option so I apparently don't need to do a backup for it. I don't play the online version anymore.

Yes, I was talking about the online and cracked versions that run in your browser. The offline version isn't running in your browser and save data goes into the "%localappdata\VNE2" folder.
thx. I finally figured that out and should have done so as soon as you talked about deleted cache. So I'm good to go when ch8 is released for free.

There is the converter,follow instructions.
Instructions:
1. Open application
2. Navigate to C:\Users\<username>\AppData\Local\VNE2
(this directory contains DFD files)
3. Press “Save as…” and save the file as .dat (I just save it as dfd_backup)
4. Import it into the online version
5. Bam, done!

couple weeks after 5 bucks patreons get it (i think some1 said free version every 8 weeks).

Sorry to ask. Can anyone tell me, is the cracked version needs an internet access or no ? The last time I've tried the cracked version i can't enter the game, how i can play them ?

In Windows you have to run the Start.bat script. If your default browser isn't Chrome, close the browser that opens and open
If you don't have Windows, then there's some additional work to do to run the game. And if you don't have Python 3.x installed, you'll need internet access to download it and to read instructions. You still don't need internet to run the game later.
In Android you'll need a web (http) server app, not Python.

I've posted the same thing on here a few times already ... dont use the mouse and it works fine.
Pretty disappointed with ch 9 to be honest. ch 8 felt rushed to begin with but ch 9 feels like a totally different story. The nice slow progress of the characters is completely out the window now
