Anybody on here in my unfortunate position and attempting this on a mac? I played the first 8 chapters online and now I've downloaded the ch9 cracked filed.

But I can't press the htm file to play it in chrome.

I've downloaded python but I'm terrible with tech so I can't get it to work. Any kind soul who has managed to play this on mac who can help me?

Use cd command to go to directory
python -m SimpleHTTPServer 8000
Open browser and go to 127.0.0.1:8000

after re read many site didnt find something for my problem.
i use start.bat in ch.9 -> check
game starts -> check
i load the Ch.8 backup file postet here -> check
game wants to restart -> check
start a new game -> i get this here:

1. Did you downloaded it from the OP? From which link?
2. Are you sure that you extracted the contents of the downloaded 7z archive completely and there were no errors? Do you have the latest version of 7-Zip installed?
3. Are you sure you haven't moved or deleted anything you extracted? You can try to repeat extraction.
   
4. Are you sure there are no non-ASCII characters in the path where you extracted the game? Some of them may cause problems.
