He does look really white in those scenes you posted. But tbf, I haven't reached that far yet. Maybe it's the version difference? Palmer did once release 2 versions on Loverlab web: one is step daughter version; other, real daughter. Mine is step daughter. Is yours step or real? Or maybe it's official/cracked version difference? Mine is official. (For clarification, I didn't download the files from this web).

There are no step or real versions anymore. Default relationship is childhood friend, due to changes in patreon tos/rules, which can be found via the wrench icon on the main menu.
Only differences between patreon and free versions are that patreon has all recorded voice acting (but it seems they've been releasing the free builds with all voice acting) and when you can play it.

I downloaded the backup file(chapter from 12 to 16), but when i started the 13 **(for example) the game show me the message ( we detected that you have not previously player chapter for this game) . How i load the 12 cap saves. Therer is a specific folder that i Ignore? Thx a lot

Are you playing offline or online? Backup saves are for online only and don't require to be in a certain folder to be used.

Offline saves are stored here C:\Users\%username%\AppData\Local\VNE2

Three things that have me scratching my head a bit:

1) Do some people take fictional characters a bit seriously?

2) Why does the MC absolutely have to be Caucasian?

3) Is it a bit odd if people splenetically attack a game as fkt up, etc., once a young woman the MC may previously have been having sex with as his daughter (so far, so good, presumably) ... is no longer the MC's daughter, but alienated by apparent documentary evidence her mother may have been ripped off by that unrelated MC?

But hey, it wouldn't be good if everyone thought alike.

Cracked are patreon versions that someone jerry rigged and can be a little janky, but have all recorded voice acting, but no one is cracking dfd at this point in time

Official are the free releases of dfd. Just play those, someone doesn’t tamper with them. After a certain chapter, apparently these have all recorded voice acting

I'd like to hope... like REALLY hope... that we hear something like this is the final chapter:

Amanda produces a recording. In the recording, the aunt tells her : "You dump MC... or one of my assassins kill him. You go to the cops... and the MC gets kidnapped and tortured slowly before dying. Remember... I'm rich. It'll take YEARS before this is out of court if you go to the cops anyways" i.e. Amanda was blackmailed.

So our detective friend makes the aunt and rich folks... disappear.

Even I'm right (which I don't think I am)... the devs should put hints to that if they're trying to redeem Amanda and not make it look like a last minute "we need you to like her" 180.

OT = Of course... of FUCKING COURSE... the MC uses the gun as a crowbar... so that the gun is broken... so I can't shoot the fucking aunt... in the face... until the gun goes click click click... out of ammo. Feels like a Zork game or 1950s storytelling: "Gotta keep the violence G rated folks..."... in a PORN GAME!... somehow...

EDIT = Note that in ch.16, the aunt is actually telling us that she hopes that we're shot and killed. So yeah... in an R rated game... I think I would have really liked that option... even if it led to a game over. (I can always reload).

Personally i don't think Amanda is a bad person for being swayed by her aunt. Moe was swayed too, and he's older and a cop and should be more suspicious in general. It's likely that there was plenty of convincing circumstantial information presented.

So yeah, my issue is not that she is a bad person. It's that she is a boring character. Her most defining character trait (other than being hot for daddy dick) is how dreadful she is at the games you play during your road trip. If the game wants me to care about getting Amanda back, it needs to make her interesting as a person, and it doesn't.
