Any good creator has to know the direction their story is going to take before they begin to create. It seems like any planning was thrown into disarray by Patreon's changing guidelines.
Amanda seduces her father and then decides he's untrustworthy on the opinion of a person she has only recently met? If the MC had seduced her this might be more plausible. Amanda would have reason to doubt the MC's character.
Amanda being angry that the MC moved on with a socially acceptable relationship after she betrayed his trust is twisted logic at best on her part.
Really the girl needs an entire team of psychologists working around the clock to analyze her psyche.

Again, it's about context. How much the reader is willing to suspend their disbelief lies largely in what has already been established. Amanda was obsessed with her father then took a rather striking swerve towards treating him like a leper, based on the word of someone she didn't know. Then she says she trust him completely? Either Palmer doesn't understand the word 'trust' or he's changing the character based on episodic whims, which as stated is bad writing and will strain disbelief.And then, the permanent dramatic suspense, to have that sword of Damocles of criminal and - worse - morally repellent activity hanging over the MC's head, means some prising-away of trust is perhaps necessary for plot? If so, we can set demands of skyscraping, three-level concrete-foundation plausibility above anything previously required in the history of drama ... but who was it said about a "willing suspension of disbelief"? If you're not willing, that's okay. But errrr, have a heart, or something?
I didn't directly address your other points because I felt they were encompassed in the statement 'she's badly written'.
That's not even getting into how ludicrous this 'case' is.

- Is there a way to use a save backup for the offline version or is the only option to start from the beginning (chapter 1)
The reason I ask is because I stopped playing around chapter 8 or 9 a while ago (cracked versions) and want to continue playing using the offline versions that are released here on f95

I was able to play Ch 1 and Ch 2, but trying to go to 3 won't work. And there is NOT an option to create a back up. I downloaded the Ch 1 - Ch 17 file. Can I get some help, here?
using the customization menu to set everything to be real incest only works for a few screens, i have it set so that im Amanda's Father but it keeps switching to Step Father. Im playing the offline version

No. There is no selection to back up a save in the options on chapter 2. For me, anyway. I've saved at the end of the thing when it says "forever." Still nothing.

Can anyone tell me where the save files would be located? My friend transferred my games to new account on laptop (same laptop different account) after a error would no longer let me login to old one. I finished up to ch 17 but it seems my saves didnt transfer to new account. I really hope I dont have to start over
