i would like to add that while trans and futa content is a big turnoff for me i dont feel its nessisary to have a toggle on the gender as its completely optional if you want to do anything sexual with him/her or not.

Ok, gave this game a try and while it has a great potential and beautiful models, I will probably put it on hold for a while until we get a bit more content and it gets a bit more polished.

Even though Laura is a transgender and I don't find trans women appealing in real life, I must say she really looks stunning, so I personally don't mind her, especially since I find her "prostitute with a heart of gold" character interesting, cliché as it may be. I would however prefer if MC wouldn't look like Paul McCartney back when he was 12 but then again, I rarely find MCs in porn games to my liking lately.

While the game doesn't truly need a walkthrough as such yet, the beginning (after you arrive into the hotel) can still be somehow confusing (perhaps not the best word to describe it, but it should suffice) until you figure out you just need to wait a couple hours for instance. So you might want to help players with a more elaborate journal entries or perhaps something similar?

Another thing that might need some work is how text, clickable map entries and ingame menu (the Esc/right mouse button one) show on different screens, which I believe some mentioned before me already. In my case trying to click the tiny text on map was quite a bit of a pixel hunt. Also the way the choosable answers are presented in a rather small box on the right makes them quite difficult to read sometimes.

I believe you mentioned being from Britain, right? Don't take this the wrong way, but if I'd have to guess, I would say that you didn't really get along too well with your English teacher, did you? Sorry if that sounded somewhat condescending, since it wasn't meant as such, but you might want to get someone to proofread the text for you every now and then. There's no bigger mistakes as such, however there are quite a few misspelled words, forgotten capital letters, punctuation and other smaller grammar mistakes, so the text just needs some polishing.

All being said, I believe the game really has potential, so I'll keep my eye on it and I wish you a lot of luck and fun making it in future.

Every other post seems to mention potential, and I personally thought the same almost a year ago when the initial version has been released. But considering the state of the game today I don't really see anything good ever coming out of it. It is not even the slow progress which is a problem, but overall lack of direction and focus. Main characters (mom, sis, trans) have no development whatsoever, new random characters, mechanics and mutually exclusive plotlines are introduced every other update for no apparent reason and don't seem to go anywhere. Not to mention tons of bugs. All money making is broken from day 1, and there is no reason to ever bother with it since saves are incompatible between versions and it's not like there is a reason to cheat: most of the stuff you can buy is broken or useless anyway.

Is it just me or does Saving and Loading take a very long time for this game? Even quitting the game makes it go to "Not Responding" and forces me to use Task Manager to manually kill the process... wtf? Anyone else got issues with it?

Everybody does. I have a top gaming pc and this game is noticeably slow, especially in comparison to other renpy games.

I'm probably not being very clear, my apologies, I did realise Laura is a transgender when I read the dialogues, but I didn't thought there would have been explicit transgender content because I forgot to read the tags. I've been following this game since it originally came out. It's always had grindy parts, and I've seen that get better as things move forward. I really enjoy the story and renders; the presentation and pacing is really good.

But I think I'm done with this game. Being forced to start over every update is obnoxious, but I can normally suck it up and live with that in RenPy games because I can usually force skip through dialogue I've seen and get to the new content pretty quickly. Not here. Everything the MC says is a pointless "choice" (just a single menu entry) that I have to click on, right where actual choices go as well. This works OK the first time I'm playing a scene, but as I'm trying to get through dialogue I've already read by clicking as quickly as I can, suddenly a choice pops up and I click on whichever choice is under the cursor and there's no way to go back, or even an autosave. And why does saving take 15 seconds? I have a beefy computer, and there's not that much to save. Oh, and why only 3 saves per page? Just so we can see a pretty background unimpeded?

To make matters worse, the dev has added pointless custom stuff to the main RenPy folders that break Unren, which ultimately means that once I enable the console or rollback or quicksaves, I can't start a new game.

I know the dev is adding new content to an open world game in which certain events need to happen sequentially, but slogging through all the old content over and over is pointless and frustrating. If the dev happens to read this, I'd make the following suggestions: either write code that fixes old saves (usually just involves adding definitions to new variables) or get rid of all the pointless MC menu clicks in the same spot as choices. I really want to enjoy the game, but the issues above make it really had to follow it as incremental updates are added.

Sam made a new version of Un'ren recently, it's up to .7 now. I haven't played this game in a while but the new version doesn't break menus for a lot of games that .6 did.
