Hello everybody!
Here is this week's development update on the next release of Defending Lydia Collier, v.0.14.
I've now made 1,757 renders for v.0.14, up about 20 renders on last week.
"Why so few renders!?" - As part of the change following v.0.13's catastrophe of a release, I decided that rather than doing all of the renders first and then doing all the coding, editing and writing at the end, - usually with a looming self-imposed deadline coming up and causing a rush and awful release mess - instead I would focus more on completing the update as a whole.
So this week I have completed most of the coding, post-work and dialogue for the update. If you want to check out what I've been working on, $10+ supporters can see all the complex, for me, coding for Samantha's Streams now completed, tested and working in BETA Scene 1, and then there is a general teaser of that was just released with BETA Scene 2 featuring Emma at the Gym.
I now can see some areas that need a few extra renders, and where to add a couple of small scenes to make everything flow more smoothly. So I'll be adding these in, then once Regular Steph and Ellie's personal scenes are finished, the UK Part of the update will be ready to go to the Alpha Testers.
That also means with the update coming up that it is time to think about the menu. I quite like v.0.13's menu, and I think that menu will probably be the final menu, however I like having distinctive different ones each update so you can immediately tell you're in a new version of the game.
There will be a poll going up shortly after this for anybody who supports the game at an Early Access Tier of some level, and the winner of this poll will get a nice solo render made to serve as this update's menu.

Ok so having played this for a bit i must say ... i think im in love.
Steph is fkn awesome! I wasnt expecting this. I thought i would be more into Ellie or something but nope. So far Steph is just amazing and not because of how crazy she is, thats nice but i find her so fkn adorable sometimes.
I just love her personality and how she acts around the MC, she sometimes acts like a kid with a candy or something idk how to explain it (so fkn adorable) ... and ofc the sex with her is something else haha

Well, you actually get this drive from her anyway. And if you're on a certain path, you can even "take care" of her, if you get what I mean.
Steph is adorable from the start. But if you'll make her bimbo, she will become very different, and loose her charm, in my humble opinion.
Regular Steph path is kinda boring and short. The real deal is the Bimbo path.

i have a question before downloading, is THIS game advanced enough in development that it's contain sexual explicit content or not?

If you look at the tags at the top of the thread, those should (at least in theory) always match content currently in the game. Of course there are occasional mistakes made and tags don't always get updated with each release, but the site policy is that only content currently in the game gets tagged.
So here the
anal, oral, and vaginal sex tags indicate the answer to your question.

hello, so i read in the guide provided here:
14 - Meeting Vanessa You can start Vanessa’s romance path. “Would you like a lift?” + “I’d quite like to see you again actually” - Schedules a date with Vanessa & begins her romance path. Steph’s path will end here if you choose to start romancing Vanessa
now i'm playing the VN with the mod that is also provided here and stopped at "it was nice meeting you" or "I’d quite like to see you again actually"....
can you do both ladies at the same time using that mod or you'll have to choose here which one to continue with?

Every path in this game is pretty uniqe and packed tightly. So no, you can't mix paths via mods. It won't make any sence. If you want to see other routes, you'll have to replay basicly from the start.

fucking A, i'm reading the guide while playing DESPAIR & it's filled with.....
if you do this, you can't do that if you want this, you can't have that
so basically the game is a one girl path only, even if you choose one girl you have to replay again to get different scenes with her instead of spacing them out to other days lol.
don't get me wrong i think the game is decent from the amount i spent so far & i'm not asking for a harem type of shit but at least in a story heavy VN give your player some sort of a breather by having a cheating path with 1 other girl at least for those who chose to follow it & suffer consequences later.
i chose Steph & so far MC only been able to fuck the whore in the toilet & now he's stuck with Steph for the rest of the game i think
for those who finished this VN multiple times is there a combination of 2 girls regularly!?
from what i can understand you can't mix between Steph, Vanessa, Ellie.... if you want to date Lydia you can't be with any of them, i didn't encounter Jenna so far except for couple of dreams & MC's phone but i'm guessing if you want a piece of that busty racks you can't be with any of the above, i'm now with miss Frankland & she asked MC to introduce his girlfriend so that's a GG

There was a reply not so long ago about possible love triangles. For Steph, you will be able to pursue either Lydia, or Jenna.

25 - Deciding who to Date
Depending on the Player’s choices so far, you will have different opportunities on who to date. If you are on a current romance path, you should stick with them to continue it.
If you slept with Stephanie after the club (23), you can ask Stephanie on a date (26).
If you went on the date with Vanessa on Day 4 (17), you can ask Vanessa on a date (27).
If you slept with Tanya (23) the Vanessa path will end here regardless.
>If you suggested meeting up with Lydia when you went for tea (22), you can ask Lydia on a date (28). You should only choose this option if you are on the Ellie or Jenna path.<
