He probably can't depict minors plus everyone is already Rapemaxxing in DOL. I am more interested in knife fights , imagine someone walks up to you, calls you a 'scallywag' and now you have to duel them to deathOtherwise, you'd better hurry up and implement grooming gangs.

if your character and the opponent got a dick its gonna be "swordfighting"Insult swordfighting or GTFO.
Escapism may be a thing but this game isn't it. Plus some of us like the hopeless crapsack world it is. The Hollywood urge for a happy ending is what screwed us over from a very good but bittersweet poignant ending to the newest Final Destination. They thought the OG end was "too sad" and so they did the fake out thing yet again.Okay, but so are hollywood movies with happy ends - responses to the detiorating state of the world. In the confines of the movie, things CAN be made right, there CAN be a happy ending.
I believe escapism is the word for this.
It is funny when I introduced this game to afew friends who aren't British and they were boggled at the idea you could get in trouble for using pepper spray in self-defence and thought it surely would've been made up.Aye. The game is, in part, a response to the deteriorating state of the world, and the UK in particular, so it's hard to avoid reminders. To forget would be to go mad.
any chance of more bestiality content?Soonish.
And I do play something else when I want that. DoL is for one kind of mood, if I'm looking for wholesome joy I'll pick up Our Life Beginnings & Always or its sequel, Our Life Now & Forever. In my opinion, both are really effective eye bleach.So... yeah I rather like the dark scrambling to survive helplessness DoL gives us. If I want a decidedly happy feel I'll play something else.
give me ETA or give me death!Aye. The game is, in part, a response to the deteriorating state of the world, and the UK in particular, so it's hard to avoid reminders. To forget would be to go mad.
I strongly agree. I remember reading a story a few months ago that was good up until the ending, then wrote a long post with my ideas for fixing said ending. I explicitly remember saying that I like GOOD endings, and good doesn't always equal happy. That the author actually introduced a plot hole just for their have a cake and eat it too ending. Can't stand that stuff. I mean, I love happy endings, but not at the cost of the story's quality. Some creators understand that. I had no complaints about how Killing Stalking was handled, and I currently have no complaints about DoL.Ive always hated how people cant grasp the idea that a bittersweet or even dark ending cant be good in its own right. Everything has to have some kind of shitty deus ex machina to swoop in and save everyone or have absolutely stupid plot armor or something and its just really annoying. Sometimes a piece of media makes you feel like shit after finishing it and that is the point of some media which makes it entertaining in its own right. Trying to white wash everything into some kind of happily ever after cop out ending is just silly. Such a large portion of media already has some lame cop out at the end that you can basically assume that whatever you are reading watching or playing is going to have one which just means that 80% of the time you can just assume thats how its going to end and be right. I would rather have the option of a bad ending or at least a bitter one open instead of just watching something trying to guess what kind of dumb bullshit they are going to pull out of their ass to make a happy end.
Might be too deep rooted into both code and writing to make it work cleanlyI'm surprised no-one's ever made a get-rid-of-Bailey-permanently mod yet, considering how many users have wanted it over the years.
I still remember that during my first couple weeks (maybe a month) of playing DoL I eventually got so annoyed by it that I fired up Notepad++ and edited the amount Bailey asks for to...I even forget what the value was, but the fully ramped up + Robin amount was at 20$ or something like that. And now that my "moneymaking" time was freed up, I kept playing around to familiarize myself with the game. After maybe a couple more months I took those training wheels off.I'm surprised no-one's ever made a get-rid-of-Bailey-permanently mod yet, considering how many users have wanted it over the years.
you can just life in the woods if you dont like paying the tax. as long as you dont enter the orphanage its doable.I'm surprised no-one's ever made a get-rid-of-Bailey-permanently mod yet, considering how many users have wanted it over the years.
Easiest method I know of is to use one of the image mods from theis there a mod that makes the character look more like an adult, that's the chief complaint i have with the game
