But... There *is* no problem here. *You* have a problem here, yes, but most other people dont, or at least I havent really seen anyone else complain about this yet. Isnt it more entitled to assume your problems are everyone elses?
I mean let me ask you, if you play a game and you dislike several things...what is gonna be your priority list from gamebreaking bugs, bugs, unbalanced game content, lack of Qol and immersion topics?

There are tons of things i dislike about the Anthro Heat game and by the time i get to something of similar category like the onions here im already angry about the others failing me.

This is not a priority issue, its a minor thing and the game isnt a case of death by thousands cuts so most probably even if they dislike this wont talk about it because theres more pressing things.
The fact that the onions got mentioned here is quite a positive thing because it means that our dude's biggest issue with the game is something that can be fixed by adding in an actual rare ingredient into the plant list.

Also i havent seen since ages that white knight stance where someone claims a problem doesnt exist because there arent enough people complaining about it. Talk about nostalgy.

Lmao what? The problem doesnt exist because its not a problem for 99.9% of people. Idk if you know that "white knight" means ngl.

Ah~ I feel for Purity. Don't know anything about the guy, but digging into someone's past and affecting their real life livelihood is almost always a no-no. Especially since people do change. Fortunately, it doesn't seem they were fired.

Can we just like drop the onion discussion already? Pretty sure everyone has said all that could possibly be relevant at this point. If it keeps getting brought up just ignore it.

Oh, I thought we were done with that. I even dropped a mod solving that issue, and have already confirmed that it shouldn't break anything in the future even if the game updates and I don't update said mod... which I probably will update it cause it's nice having onions in the Supermarket. I've removed apples from my version, but the one available to download still has apples, and I'm too lazy to match it to mine so enjoy the Supermarket apples... for now.

people do change. i witnessed it several times in major ways and on a massive scale just over the past decade. bet only the most "- - - awareness" people didn't.
purityguy is a good team lead and a reasonable person. he has his vision, and he's approachable when you want to introduce yours. as long as it doesn't contradict vrelnir's. he's easy to work with, and i haven't seen him exhibiting any toxic traits when it comes to managing contributions. which is what he did (and hopefully will continue doing). if some feature was added to the game - chances are he helped it happen, even if it's not mentioned in the changelog. and the witch hunts against him are contrived, completely unjustified and sucked out of finger.

Just checked the vrel post on the blogspot about this, and holy fuck, what absolutely stupid shit that Purity was witchhunted for.

Why do people always try to purity test everyone nowadays? To the extent they even go searching for things they've said in the past to use against them in the present( which imo is ONLY valid if the person in question is being hypocritical). Really wish this type of stuff would just die out man.

And I hope Purity will be able to rest and eventually comeback, never fun when certain crazies decide to go after you for frankly dumb reasons.

Well, it could also be the work of "pretentious" "self-righteous" Angels sowing discord among the degenerate subhumans aiming to topple Vrelnir helpers one by one:ROFLMAO:

Whenever stuff like this happens, all I can think of is that there's someone among the helpers who are hungry to be the 'bigger helper' to Vrelnir. After all, if you have a 'manager' that is well liked by the 'owner' enough that you can't see any foreseeable way of taking the 'manager's' place, character assassination is certainly one way of doing it. I'd certainly be wary of any of the current or future helpers that suddenly approach Vrelnir and be all like 'sorry about Purity, heard what happened but here are my contributions', especially if they were known to clash with Purity.

Or perhaps they're just one of the bandwagoners of the current social media anxiety wave, who are constantly acting like a DoL Fallen Angel with high Trauma, constantly cursing the world. The most ironic thing about those sort of people is that those very people in the future, if it's found that they did online witchhunts like that, would also be the ones who would shout "I'm not like that anymore!" the loudest, especially when the same thing happens to them.

MFW the game that caters to degenerate subhumans has a community made up of degenerate subhumans.
the game caters to a wide spectrum of audiences. just look at the tags wall.

pffff. come on. to be a bigger helper - you actually have to know how to code. people don't. the game sources are out there, officially. you can grab them and add any content you like - approved or not - and share it like sparrow_rose did above with the onions mod. yet barely anyone is actually participating. instead they're blaming purity for not getting the content they want, as if removing him would open the gates to more new content instead of closing them.

After all, if you have a 'manager' that is well liked by the 'owner' enough that you can't see any foreseeable way of taking the 'manager's' place
you're way off-target here, pal. vrel is barely present. puri is here and approachable, doing god's work. barely anyone wants to do god's work, there were no conflicts of interest behind the curtains.
