my advice to the developer is to make what he FEELS and what he Thinks... i think there are other ways to support the dev but no LEGAL one ..

As someone who has had this experience it is possible. Ex-GF, drugged food and rope. It was not consensual and it has had a very negative impact on me and my social life. Men can and do get raped, by both men and women.
