This looks just like an insult to many people who decided to support it. If they wanted to, they could cut off funding, but obviously, they didn't because WL does a better job on their game than other developers that aren't even capable of doing such realistic animations/body physicsI can only hope we don't get another Wild Life situation with this project. I'd rather see it be abandoned and dead than have six (6) years of ongoing development with absolutely nothing to show for it.
Definitely stick with updates and once you feel the game is shaping towards what you enjoy you can start supportingI'll watch for a few updates. If this gets good, I'll definitely consider that 26 tier.
Hi, you definitely said lots of valid thingsGoing to get a very decent monthly income through Patreon, and then development will slow down to a crawl since at that point burnout sets in, and people keep paying no matter what so there's no longer incentive to deliver anything other than the occasional symbolic bugfix.
On top of that: Getting work done through commissions is far more expensive, and easily takes 10-20 times as long, as what you get with an in-house artist that puts in real hours, so any project that rely on the notoriously fickle work ethics of internet freelancers will always hit a bottleneck in the visual department. And since commission based work doesn't come with long term contracts, the artists lose interest after the first short while, because suddenly they have to act like professionals instead of hobbyists. So art direction is forced to change as someone new has to take over. And that then repeats again 6 months later.
There are a lot of very good reasons these project always die at exact same point in the process. Because that is when it requires a professional, in house, team to build the actual game on top of the system and engine framework. Coming up with the ideas, and building the framework, is the easy part. It's the part that's fun and engaging. When you have to put in the tens of thousands of hours mass producing and polishing content to fill out that framework, that's when the passion starts being in short supply. And at that point you just stop putting in the work, unless you are at a very acute risk of losing your job. Patreon makes sure that that never happens.

It isn't so much an insult to the people providing financial support as it is a jab at the developers. The very first public release on adeptussteve's tumblr blog in like, 2014, is functionally identical to the build his team posted just a couple days ago. The animations are really good, I'll give you that - top of their class as far as adult games go. However, I don't like the work ethic they seem to have adopted; bimonthly updates, with what seem like barebones patch notes, including - but not limited to- a handful of new animation loops, minor bug fixes, and crash resolutions. For a team that used to promote their ex-Bioware/Activision-Blizzard/Infinity Ward employees, and is "always hiring more", it truly feels like they aren't putting their best foot forward.This looks just like an insult to many people who decided to support it. I post everything on discord as I work, so immediately for standard class patrons, then weekly updates for Twitter (sort of) and each month release post on Patreon. I also talk about patrons about their feedback or priorities and try to adjust to it as long as it doesn't break my artistic vision.so, on this releases.. is there any sex interaction in the game?

yep i like wildlife cux you can literally take over the body of any character you meet and become them for ever if you like ... just wont have those super powers! like flying and such at least last demo i tested had that issue... now the flying was Ark Survival level almost..Wildlife says hello.
