Dev's take on NSFW on Steam clearly shows they are simply lazy and quite comfortable with the current situation - basically doing nothing and getting money for free.

I would cleanup and adjust NSFW parts to release game on Steam including adult content. Sounds huge but in reality it shouldn't be much. First of all tentacle sex should be removed. You don't need to remove tentacles themselves, just the sex part (after losing struggle minigame) can be converted into "dragging underground and death" animation (making game even harder). Human sex mechanic through those dialogs already should pass as consensual, but it can also be expanded on merchants (if merchants are converted into male npcs and not some stupid holograms with AI generated girl images) like "ask for a discount" dialog line. No rape and bestiality basically, egg laying and pregnancy (even from humans) should go away too.

But for that to happen the game should have more "gaming" content and a dev that actually cares. Weapon constructor and cyberware look fun but they don't add anything to missing gameplay and aimbotting oneshotting bots - I could go with a single preconstructed gun and night vision googles. More various quests (with sex), more merchants (with sex), better designed maps, optimization of course. And this game could be something like a Bright Memory but for NSFW survival genre.

Okay, i played for like a 100hours on "max difficulty" and most of the time AI dont even see me for some reason and looking for other directions and they are not shooting back at all(if they are they miss 99% of the time), what is going on with this game? It was a difficult game for the first time but now its too easy to play. I even started to degrade my gear for harder gameplay but it wont help at all...

It's funny the Dev talks about expectations, yet we are on V23.2 and we still don't have custom controls.

Personally, I have enough NSFW content in the game, but I don't have enough of everything else. The game has empty locations with no acceptable content, as it was two years ago, and that's how it remains. As a result, it turns out that all the advantages that the game has are NSFW content and visual. If we remove NSFW content from the game, we'll just get a crappy copy of Anomaly Gamma.

Yeah, What I fail to comprehend is that clearly dev is failing to understand that delta zone is NSFW game first, (also advertised as such ). If you take away NSFW stuff you just left with mediocre FPS-Gun modding sim, something closer to shooting range sim than true FPS game.

I personally think that he got carried away at some point and thought to himself - " I can fill niche for hardcore FPS cyberpunk shooter " And worst part is that he truly believes that he can do it. Only thing that can be identified in this game as cyberpunk is chrome, and only you can wear it, neither enemies nor locations resemble cyberpunk in slightest. I think that here is major problem here, since he can truly think that release on steam will be some great success.

What is for me saddest part of this whole drama is that this game has one of the best NSFW-FPS mechanics foundations there are, sex is a mechanic, that was quite well put in game. It shows vision and huge potential. Also we got quite a number of kinks like pregnancy, non-consensual, tentacles, RNG mechanic of cumming inside/outside and limited consequences in terms of pregnancy. We also got meds/implants that can somewhat make you control those consequences. There is a lot of potential here, just add more scene, expand on existing mechanics and you get best NSFW shooter on the market.

For example interactive scenes with tentacles where by some sort of mini game you can direct tentacles to desired holes minimizing risk of pregnancy, but still be able to collect eggs/semen at cost of damage and "corruption", add traders that are exclusively interested in eggs or young tentacles, add some more consequences regarding said pregnancy (slow down, excessive hunger, constantly elevated libido, corruption)and tentacle interactions in general ( damage ), death if you fight with them to much in potential interactive H-scene, possible death from pregnancy if you lack special augmented womb. Hell, even add ability to farm/harvest tentacle pheromones, craft special ammo with them, shoot female enemies, which would elevate their libido to the sky, making them masturbate or in presence of another npc have sex with them, which would distract them making stealth easier. Merge that with corruption mechanic, ( replacing current lack-luster sanity mechanic ) where you have harder time avoiding egg laying by just extending bar on said mini-game, making it so the more you try to breed with tentacles the harder is for you to avoid becoming their brood-mother, forcing you to find different ways of collecting eggs/phermones/semen ( tentacle loot in general ).

As for progression my ideas were adding expensive tentacle tranquilizers to be able to collect eggs in containers with skipapble jerking off animation, ( this way you could still grind egg trader without having to go thru same scenes over and over again). In far future add maybe female enemies that can be captured and use as your egg "container." In overall just add some progression to those NSFW mechanics. Hell even go thru hassle of breeding tentacles yourself and using them as fucked up version of mines for enemies, especially if female enemies were to be added. Just expand on existing elements, add female enemies based on eve model but with different textures, tentacles are already here, just add interactive scenes, and so on. Female animations are here, so most of what i said is just code.

Real shame that this game went into mediocre tarkov-anomaly copy game.

This game only hope for survival is NSFW even if it is blocked behind pay-wall. You could work around it somewhat like Total War did with thier gore DLC, just add 1$ sub on sub to get unlock key, but I'm sure he would sooner rip his own throat out then make 1$ one use sub unlocking NSFW. Rape, bestiality, egg laying and pregnancy are niche kinks that probably made a lot of people come to the game, without it this game looses much of it's uniques, since there are other good FPS fully consensual NSFW shooters with optional sex scene gallery, and they are much refined and better games.

Yep, but to be fair to him, making NSFW content is unlike creating other types of content. Your main drive is being horny, which isn’t a reliable motivator. But it also needs to be said that he should just commission work from a good 3D animator—the project is making enough money for that.


With porn artists, it’s quite common that they either find a partner or get bored with their old kinks, and eventually abandon their work. This is even more true when you have kids. Your girlfriend walking into your room while you’re animating tentacle creatures rearranging the guts of the main character can, well, be quite an event.

That's is partly the reason why so many animators like Animopron, Jackerman or shait or even my beloved Icarus take ages to make anything, or even take months long brakes.
