The one on the right has a calmer expression. The one on the left has a look of fear or shock in her eyes. The left one's hair is less colorful and has WAY too much white lighting accenting it. The left one's tits look like they're fake as fuck now, whereas the one on the right has a more natural look. The red vest just looks so out of place. The right's stomach looks normal, the one on the left looks fucking weird. I've never met someone with their belly button that high on their torso. Also the left one's waist to hip ratio makes her looks ridiculous. She just looks plastic. The shading and thick lines are just gone. Even the jeans are worse off. Her whole character just lost the nice color and lining style she originally had. The left one looks like it belongs in Milftoon Drama. Ironically enough, "improving" the linework made her look more like a sticker and less like the character she was. Thinner lines and less color isn't better. It's actually worse. The darker colors and less gradual shading looked light years better.
I don't mean to sound too critical, but you kinda went and tried to fix something that wasn't broken... and the result was something REALLY broken. I agree with
Count_Chocula; the design on the right is a character I would have been interested in pursuing. I don't want to touch the one on the left with a 10 foot pole. It actually ruined my interest for her to be honest. I hope to God that no other characters will undergo changes like this. They're already perfect as they are.
I understand your desire to constantly improve characters and other things in your game, but take it to heart when I say your characters are already perfect how they are. They don't need reworking/redesigning. You're doing great so far, quit second guessing yourself. Otherwise we'll get more saran-wrapped, silicon-titted, long-bellied Barbie doll tablespoons like this.
