Yeah, that's why at the end I put, "unless your game has an error". This bug has been reported a few times. I hope it's fixed in the next release. Since I personally never ran into this problem, I haven't searched; if you search in this thread, did anyone find a fix and make a patch, perhaps? Wish I could help you more.

Once you grab it, leave the gym and go to the hardware store (left half of the map, lower left corner). You should be able to ask the clerk to make a copy for you. Then return to the locker and put the key back.

I'm pretty sure that's a false positive. Try disabling your antivirus and downloading it again. Abhai and other uploaders specifically make sure files available here on F95 are all clean of viruses.

To copy the key, you have to go to the gym. When Richard leaves the locker room and enters the spa room for his meeting with Mr. X, go to the locker and grab his key. Leave the gym and go to the hardware store. Ask to get a copy of the key made there. Then return to the locker room in the gym and put the key back.

To get into the mansion, buy a "Climbing hook" from the hardware store. You should also have a rope in your inventory (from around the time you cleaned the pool). Combine those items (IIRC, you drag them onto each other). Then return to the mansion at night, go to the left side, and click to the right of the hot tub (so you're looking at that side of the mansion). The very back of the railing on top is clickable; select the rope w/ hook item in your inventory and then click that part of the railing. You can then enter in the door in the back (to the bathroom). However, right now entering the office at night isn't available in the game yet.

That completely depends on at what point in the game you are right now. IIRC, there are a few points where that message is given. It could be you need to talk with Jeff's sister, Bella, in the alley by their place. Maybe you need to go to Rose's place for some time together. There are a few nighttime events in the game, so it's hard to tell just based on that message.

I've done both Rose's apartment and the alley bit in the previous version, I think. In the alley, I get a message about waiting for next update. Thank you for the suggestions.

Yeah the message is so vague that it becomes unhelpful. It's stops me but doesn't tell me why. /shrug. If I look at the code, I can see why - it's based on a single variable. Anyway, perhaps I just need to start a new game and use the walkthrough in the OP. That's probably faster than going through the rpy files.

Found a glitch. If you didn't get the card in front of the steps the first time around, it shows up after you talk to Richard before you hit the bathroom. If you pick up the card, it shunts you back to when you meet Doira instead of continuing on from where you're at.
