Guys, any idea what to do in case I can't see options in preferences? same goes for ingame history...

Version is for PC - seems like there is a problem with displaying things in Preferences, About, Help, History etc. - aside that, game is working fine.

Your game install might have a problem. I'm also playing a PC version and all works for me.
I think it may have something to do with my system locale... (I had to change it to Japan since I couldn't start VNs on the original one.)

I haven't made myself clear i guess... I HAD TO change my locale to the japanese IN THE PAST in order to read japanese VNs... And it stayed that way. I don't know if this have sth to do with my issue with "Depraved Awakening", It is working fine (scenes dialogues etc.)
For a long time, the majority of porn VNs were pretty much only from Japan, with English translations being pretty rare, or using a third-party translation tool that had to run with the game, giving some pretty weird machine translations of the Japanese language.
It's really only been a (relatively) recent thing that porn VNs in the western world have been from the western world.
The same was true of RPGM gamers.
Personally, I'm going to say that the rise of crowdfunding is the big cause of the rise of western made RPGM/Ren'Py porn games.
Prior to that, it was mostly pretty poorly drawn/animated "games" with the major stand out being 3d Sexvilla from Thrixxx (as well as their own spin-offs), the third-party modding (in particular TK17 and their entirely unofficial modding of 3D Sexvilla and incorporating from the other Thrixxx games and their own additions).
Also, games made in RAGS/Quest Player, and text-only/text & image games requiring other third-party software to run, and HTML-based games/browser games.
... I know way too much about this for my own good.

Each to its own Jackie but, if you're playing this particular game just for the sex scenes, you're missing one hell of a lot!

Philly you better lock yourself away from anything that can hurt you for a month, the conclusion of this fine story must be delivered.
The amount of variation you are able to pack into each release is amazing. Especially well executed is Judy's arc, who slowly has feelings for the MC, without it feeling like blue-balling and now she has fully come to terms with her feelings, its beautiful.
But i think the biggest compliment i can give is that all the girls are well fleshed out, rendered beautifully and are unique in their ways. In every VN or adult game i play, i normally just pick one girl as being the stand out or the one with the best content(ahem "plot"), but i am struggling with choosing a single girl in the Depraved Awakening roster. Thats what makes this the best mature VN bar none.
You can't compare this to the milf/incest/boy games. It's a much more mature dark story based, work of art.
Depraved Awakening is currently i believe in a league of its own.

this game has replaced dreams of desire as my number 1 Adult game ever. The story this game delivers together with the very interesting characters who feel and act real blows that of Dreams way. I must admit that Dreams is better if you just want a quick fap. but the overall package depraved awakening delivers is just so much better.
@mraw sadly it will be more than a month. Its a huge update. Basically 3 full paths and those even break out into others. On top of that I am also beginning more prep work for the next game and practicing with the tools I will need for it. Its a tight balancing act to get this game out but to also have enough material for the next and the skill set i need with the new tools I'll be using in order to jump right in again. I'd say i am about 85% on DA then 15% on the next game.
Things like the girls in the next game are taking me quite a long time. The last one i finished is sadly very close to a stock model but still the adjustments i did on her took weeks. I would think I was happy with it then find somethign else i did not like and adjust. Rinse and repeat. So that is my focus right now are the next batch of girls. I want to start them so i have time to refine them over the next few months.
