Not a problem anymore. Unless you really put some expensive new charge in the game. I worked in the Cafe until I had $1000 dollars. Turned it into 5mil with the Bogdanoff help. I don't see me needing more than that in this game.

You need to talk to Kaira in her room once where she talks about going to the pool. The following afternoon Nicole will be on the couch.

I'm really on the fence and a bit confused with this VN/Game... It starts off with a more traditional Visual Novel style story based game, that quickly leans towards being a porn fest... Then the holiday event appears, which should have just been some separate thing from the main menu or as a separate download, but instead just appears out of the air without being in-line with the story and plot up to that point... Follow that with a Relationship Grinder, with lots of money grinding involved, in order to open up a majority of the individual female character story arcs... When I look back at everything, once I completed all the arcs, you see a lot of inconsistencies in the character development and story telling... It feels a bit scatter brained, like it doesn't know what to really go with or be... Almost like there are too many people making conflicting decisions during it's development... For brief moments the story telling is good, then it gets bad, then good again, then bad again... You think it's going to be story rich, then it becomes story poor, and visa-versa... It just left me more in a state of confusion, then fully and consistently enjoying my play through... Because of that, it was really difficult to write my review... I felt like I have a lot to say, but it would be like writing a novel to explain it all... I went ahead and posted my review on the bigger points I felt needed reviewing...

Yeah, I'm pretty much on-board with @Zippity
After far to long to have just been an introduction the game completely changes to a different type of game. Choose one type of game and stick with it for the entirety (not to mention it makes no sense to play a game and then that same game asks me to tell it all the steps I've already done up to that point).
As for the gameplay itself, the VN half is a VN. VNs don't really have gameplay. It's basically all personal preference on does one like the renders and does one like the text... so I'll leave that half uncommented.
The second half of the game needs some rethinking.
1. The navigation is not great. If one could at least jump to the map from anywhere that would greatly improve things.
2. A much bigger problem is the grind for money. The game quickly runs out of unlocked content and there is absolutely nothing to do but get more and more money. Gathering money is a very slow process that requires way too many mouse clicks. This is not a good design. Not only that but when a player finally collects enough money to unlock something they quickly find that it generally unlocks 1 scene and then the player is back to content locked and money grinding again.
2a - Don't lock out characters who are out of content or waiting for another step to unlock. Allow the most recent scene to be continually replayed or put in some other small repeatable event for the character while the are on hold.
2b - If so much of the game is going to revolve around earning money, make the work have some random elements with sexy and fun things that can happen. There is nothing fun about "click to leave room; click map; click cafe; click hostess; click work; click home; click bedroom; click bed; click sleep til morning... repeat 100 times". (Basically if the game continues this route everyone will use cheats to earn instant/free money. Some people will do that no matter what, but that shouldn't be required to enjoy the game, plus why spend time building something that everyone will then skip.)
3. Hopefully there is a plan to fill the world out more. Currently there is far too much time where I can find nothing I can actually do. I either need to find the "just advance time" button and spam it or run home and take a nap in bed. I had to skip/sleep through way more time periods in the game then time periods where I actually found something I could do. As I said, I hope this is at least partly because the game is early stages and more content will fill in. I'm worried that it will not, however, because I can often find all the main characters and they tell me they are waiting for me to unlock the next stage. So it is not that their current content is not ready. Adding in more characters may happen, but the core characters should really always have some interactions on-going.

If you have the "private pool" unlocked (meaning you have bought/upgraded membership 3 times) and can go there; and kaira was at the point of saying that she needed gold membership to continue; and you then spoke to her after unlocking that 3rd upgrade...
then did you try just going to the pool at each time period of the day and see if she is there waiting? (I seem to recall that's what I had to do with Nicole. Might be the same with Kaira too.)

You dont need to grind money, you can make thousands by selling the coins from the phone app pretty quickly. Save up a few hundred dollars from the cafe work (not hard to do) and then buy coins for 7-20 dollars each then sell them for 10-20 times that price.
To get the Kaira pool event from this update, you need the golden membership from the spa. When you get that, talk to her in her room and you'll go there automatically if you've done the previous events for her (pizza date, room chats etc.)

Thanks for the feedback. Money is easily obtained through the BCC app. The poor design is probably not making the player aware, or assuming the player is familiar with investing. Ther is also a quest guide through the phone so that makes it clear what is new and what is not.

One UI change I would make is having the City Map accessible from every room of the house. It was tedious to keep going out in the hall to use the Map.
