Sister porn actress?And why doesn't the dev let us decide that we don't want to know anything more about her? or at least treat her with disdain from then on
I've already seen several devs do something similar. An absurd and unnecessary movement in their stories looking for perhaps more public or who knows what. And they fuck up the game. In fact, almost all of them end up abandoned or honhold. sometimes even trying to go back and change history but he has already lost the trust of the people and it is too late
and as proof of this, he currently has 19 patrons

IIRC the sister was always doing porn I don't actually think that's different if I'm wrong then what was her issue before this? Also, the game looks the same to me but to be fair I was more interested in the concept of this game than the actual game since it's pretty light on content.

From my understanding (of what people told me here), the game got a rework and in that rework the sister was changed to have starred in a porn at one point in time in her past. Apparently, she never starred in porn before the rework. Now after the rework, she has. She's not doing it now, it was just something that happened in her past.
You'd have to find an older version of the game before it got reworked to see what her issue was then, as I didn't start playing this until after the rework, so I have no idea lol. Might look up an older version myself to compare.
EDIT: Couldn't find an older version, but did find some old walkthrough with the script in them. Apparently that whole scene (breaking down, getting stranded by the road, the gas station incident) was never in the previous version of the game. It was just Jilla picking you up, small chatter in the car, then dropping you off in Steelport.

It's already too late at that point. The game was deleted right after the sister said she was a porn actress. I don't care what happens after that, because it ruined the whole story and the player can't throw the sister out of the story himself. I would immediately throw the sister out of the game completely and that's the only option if I wanted to continue the game.

Eh, to each their own. I'm not going to let one thing that happened in one character's past ruin an entire game for me. As far as we know, there is no incest tag or planned incest so from what we know by that, she isn't a LI. She is just a random character in the game.
But if that changes in the future, then be upset about it. But for right now, it's a random character, with a background of having done porn once in her past and is no longer doing it. That's not going to ruin the game for me. If it did, then half the top games on this forum would of been ruined, as a lot of them have characters like that. Yet they are the top rated games here.

Yeah, you're absolutely right, there are a hell of a lot of games on this forum that are ruined by a small thing. If someone in the game LI or someone in my family is a porn actress, whore, escort, camgirl, lesbian, trans/futa, femdom, I can't play it. So quite a lot of games on this forum. Most of them you can't even avoid. I can avoid games like that. It just makes me angry when things like that come up as a surprise shit on the screen like in this game. In this game step-sister and sister are the same thing, they are part of the family. Even if they were side characters I still don't accept that.

He basically shitted on the only seemingly normal character in the whole game, and even tho I suspected she too had her fair share of fucked up shit she'd been through, I only suspected it to be something acceptable, like being a stripper, a cam whore, or a junkie. Glad the dev proved me wrong, I guess.
Honestly, I wonder if the dev even gives a shit about all the negative feedback or just wants to abandon the game as soon as possible, coz he surely won't become a millionaire scammer off that pocket change he makes every month.

It's not just her, ALL the characters in the game, especially the MC, are fucked up, so it's not like you have the luxury of alternative options, but like you said, to each their own.
And that's one of the dumbest decision he ever made. She's fine AF, and also seemed to be a sweet girl who loves her bro, so the dev making her a porn star and unfuckable to the MC in a world full with crazy, fucked up ppl is complete bullshit.

That would make sense if the dev had said from the beginning that she would not be a LI or that the game would not have wincest, in the list that the dev added of tags that would never appear, Incest is not present either(imo that implies that it is not ruled out), finally the dev said that Mc could have a relationship with ALL THE GIRLS, he never excluded the sister. (impo taking all that into consideration, one could say that it is more likely that she is/was an LI.)

From what I remember in the conversation in the car, it was quite clear that she was doing it in the present, it was not something from the past, that is how she currently makes a living.(EDIT: oh well Wanker put some SS where we can see the conversation )

Eh, to me it still doesn't bother. I don't self-insert into these games, so I don't take any of this personally. For me, it's just like reading a book. I'm not going to stop reading a book because I don't like what one character has done. I'm in it for the overall story.
But it is definitely one of those "to each their own" things. We all have our own likes and dislikes, so I get it. I'll stick around to see how the story goes cause it is interesting enough for me. But I get you guys have differing opinions about it, and that's all good.

Yeah I think when they say "all the girls" they mean "all the romanceable girls". Be kind of weird if it was every single girl in the game, as I don't really want to romance the senile grandma lol. It's all speculation really though about the sister. I just go off what the current tags and planned tags are. Since none of them say incest, I just assume she isn't a LI. I'm just going off what information we currently have is all. If it changes in the future, then it changes and I'll be wrong lol.

There is a shy difference between a book and this. Here at least I got really deep into the character and that's where if something shitty happens, it literally hurts and pisses me off. The book doesn't get that deep into me either. That's why dev should at least think a bit about what they're putting into their game and how many players they're willing to lose. Especially in the situation we are in now, when the game is not a goldmine for him yet. Mistakes at this stage can be very fatal and trust cannot be regained easily.
