Considering that lately the vast majority of new games out are pure garbage, i can't see it surpassed any time soon.

That's true. I've played quite a few games over the last few years and 90% of them are a complete waste of time. Most of them have a simp MC that acts like a 10 year old seeing tits for the first time acting like a complete moron. This game seems to have actual depth to the storyline. I like sex in adult games, but when they jump right to them in the first 2 minutes with no build-up it's annoying tbh.

Any one else encountering problems launching DesertStalker.exe?
double click it does something because it creates log.txt but after that, nothing. Had the same problem with v0.16b
the last this worked was 16beta. Also tried running as administrator, didn't work either.

Also I use Joiplay Ren'py plugin 8.1.1 and while my Joiplay is not the most updated, it's one version before the latest update.

The problem could be that the Ren'Py plugin you're using is for 8.1.1, while the game is built on Ren'Py 7.5.3.

You can't 'go to the balcony'. They are triggered events. Usually when you visit main bedroom with Zarah you trigger one, but it could be other situations.

Another week of previews! The first two previews are from the new mission, with the team having reached their destination, and the other three being reworked ones, in case you remember that first time Kyra went to claim her base back.

I think it might not be bad to show the list of things that are planned for the 0.17 update aside from the new content, from the last real batch of necessary reworks to new repeatable scenarios. These reworks are the last ones I feel are necessary to bring everything up to a base level of quality. Most of them are 3 years old at this point and my skills back then were basic let's say.

This will also give me the chance to add repeatables that I always wanted to see in the free roam and expand those scenes in a couple of places that it's needed, for example replacing that black screen towards the end of the first Raiders scene which basically cuts to a simple "and then they had sex" with an actual scene. (It was requested a lot over the years. I am sorry to those souls out there and you will finally be at peace.)

Lots of work ahead, but I am aiming for Q4 to get everything done to coincide with the hopeful Steam release! Everything is possible with a little overtime. Thank you as always for your patience and support!
