Yes, Autumn is a character I added. There will be scenes with her next time and it will be clear.This started pretty good. Well, minus the early sound effects, but I suppose that was intended.
Though the controls do feel a bit sluggish.
And the scene before the second investigation into the convent was so cringy I just couldn't bring myself to continue.
Lastly, man, that Autumn woman came out of nowhere.
I'm not sure as to the cause, but I kinda felt stressed after the game.
If you are having lag, it probably means your drivers are not updated or having issues. While inside the game, Press Shift+G (Windows) or Command+G (MAC) to open the RenPy Settings. Try choosing Force Angle/DirectX Renderer or Force OpenGL Renderer. Choose which one will make your game faster. Play around with fps settings too.
Probably stressed due the puzzles. Adding a few tweaks that will make it more intuitive.

Sadly, I fucked up during the first 2 interrogations and I can't seem to re-do it so I will have to restart the whole game.
